    According to NBADRAFT.NET...

The Clippers first round pick goes to Cleveland as part of the Baron Davis trade.

So did Danny really get a Clippers pick as part of the Krstic / Green / Perk / Nate trade?

I thought I remembered reading that Danny got the Clipps first pick (lottery protected) as part of the trade.

Then I thought I well the Clipps are in the lottery this year so they will get next yeaer's Clipps pick.

Does anyone have the actual details?

This is especially true with the Clips because if history repeats itself, their 2 star young players in Griffin and Gordon will leave once they're free agents. Than the Clips will be in their usual spot in the standings, either in or near the cellar.

The deal with the pick is that as soon as it falls outside the top ten the Celtics have to take it.  They can't opt not to take the pick if it's #11 or lower.  Not sure what happens after 2015.

Although I find the option idea intriguing for the Celtics in this case, it would make no sense for the Clippers to make that kind of deal.
