Remember back in 2008 when the Lakers didn't have Pau Gasol yet?

The Celts smacked the Lakers in the up and down, at LA, during the Celts' only visit at Staples versus the Lakers. It was a beat down, so to speak, as the Celts won by more than 10 points.

At that time the Lakers were just the 4th or 5th seed in the west. After Bynum went down, the Lakers traded for Kwame for Gasol. To make the story short, the Lakers went from 4th to 1st place in the west from February to April.

    What's the point?

One player can make a difference.

Ainge needs to get the Celts a big. A move similar to that Kwame for Gasol needs to happen for the Celts this season. Hopefully Ainge can pull it off.

It is a tall order.  What is the incentive for the team that is fleeced?  Would you want Jeff Green right now at nine per for four seasons?  Courtenay Lee at five per? It will have to be Bass, Lee, and Melo.  Green and Lee will have to transform themselves in Celtics uniforms.  Where is Bradley by the way is he healthy?

"the Lakers traded for Kwame for Gasol"

easy to say and done -- The LA Lakers traded Kwame Brown , Javaris Crittenton and first-round picks in both 2008 and 2010 for Pau Gasol . GIVING UP 2008 & 2010 FIRST ROUND PICK you made is so simple that only KWAME THE KEY TO GET GASOL?????
