There is still time for the team.

Danny is a big time gambler. We won't know what this team is made of until the play-offs.

There have been moments of excitement, and promise, and moments of disgust and disillusion. None of it really matters until the play-offs, and we see who will be playing and the team's focus is back.

    Enjoy the ride.

How about giving him credit for picking up Shaq and JON.  Atleast he found a way to improve the roster from the end of last year by still signing Ray and P to new contracts and will have the deepest team.  If you are gonna say our chances hinge on Shaq, then where would we be if we picked up Brad Miller instead of Shaq.  Dont bite the hand the feeds you.  You may not be eating right now, but you are not hungry....Its like being high.  You think you need to eat but you really dont.  Same thing here....you think Danny is the problem when he is the reason that we even had hope to do anything this year.....Where would we be without the pieces we have now.  I guess having the same starting 5 is more important than depth...and guys would be happy if we had Perk and Nate on the bench with Luke Harangody and with that 7 man rotation, we would make it to the promise land....Ha-ha....what a joke...and you fans have a bad memory...

[QUOTE]In Response to Re: Ainge Put his Eggs in Two Baskets : The thread said Ainge put his eggs in 2 baskets. That would be basket A(JO) and basket B(Shaq). And the trade I'm talking about is the Perk trade.

That's it in a nutshell. If those guys come back and stay healthy through the playoff run we are the deepest team in the league, with two enforcers who can guard Howard or bynum (shaq in particular will get in Bynum's head.) If they don't,we are in trouble and will have trouble getting out of the east IMHO.
