You should know better when it's coming from Fungus34 but he could be flip-flopping again for sure.
Flip-flopping?

Numerous times you said Fav is just a backup Center in the NBA.

All I said was I want to see Fav play more games before declaring him a starting Center or if he's better than Asik.
I could tell he was a keeper whether or not he was a starter. You dismiss players like Fav, Pressey, Babb etc based not on what you see but on whether/where they were drafted, if they scored a double-double in college and stuff like that which is meaningless in the real world. There have been plently of lottery picks that have failed and just as many undrafted or 2nd rounders that have made it.

Sully not getting much time with el Hombre Indesructible and Bass playing so well.

    Dude.

Did Mike say 16 rebounds in 23 minutes with 6 blocks???

    This dude is INDESTRUCTABLE!

We won't be needing Aldridge if Fav continues to play well.

What the Celts will be needing is Andrew Wiggins!
IDK man, you've seen Alrdidge? He has a reliable post game. Hustle & fast break is great, but when it comes down to the last 5 minutes of a game seven, you need go to guys. Rondo to Aldridge would be THE go-to.

Fav is playing great, but so are a lot of guys across the NBA. Its the first week still! I caught Fav taking off a few possessions (which is fair considering his production).

Im with you on waiting to see how Fav holds up over the course of a season, or at least a month, before crowning him the next Bill Russell

I think Olynyk can be as good as Aldridge in a couple of years.

Sully, Oly, and Fav would be a solid frontline.
He hasn't looked that good thus far... Oly that is

    (On Walters)

I bet you Danny Ainge is salivating.

Danny loves players on other teams that play well against us.

Danny also probably see a little bit of his own tenacity in the kid.

    What???

    I dismissed Fav?

Crazy or senile, which are you?

wozzy and I were arguing because wozzy is already declared Fav a starting Center in the NBA when Fav has yet to play a single regular season game.

I said Babb was not going to make the Celtics roster because he's nothing special.

And Pressey will just be a career backup PG.

Has Pressey played in this game yet?
Fav has plenty of experience in Europe which is more experience than Oly has had so why do you need to see him more regardless of whether he'll be a starter or backup. Everything we've seen says he's for real and a worthy pickup whether he starts or backsup ... Doesn't matter, all that matters is that he's a Celtic.

Pressey could replace AB with more coaching and playing time and neither you nor I are in a position to know what the brain trust sees or is thinking. My eyes say he's in the mix but probably only as a backup this year. I'll reserve starter talk till I see how he adjusts to the pro game later this year or earlier next season.

Babb is a ghost right now since we only saw him briefly. But, somebody sees something and brought him into camp and then kept him in the D-League. Maybe one can read into that and maybe not but if he should be brought back up later this season that would be an eye opener and would tell me that the coach/gm know more than we do. Thus he shouldn't be dismissed until he is ...

This isn't fair. Heading into this game, I totally was rooting for a hard fought loss.

Now that we had a 22 point lead, I want this win. Even though it will be a hard fought loss if we do lose.

A quick antidote ... Stephen Drew, horrible in the WS. Gets contacts before game 6. Hits a home run.

You aren't falling for that are you?  His agent put that story out there to help his free agency cause ... that's Boris ... he also had an excuse (wrist) for Ellsbury's poor showing in the series too. Don't be so gullible!
