[QUOTE]In Response to Re: Can't Win if You Can't Sit Down Properly : Shaq was healthy when he came to training camp in 2010. If you're not 30 years old or older, you don't understand what Nash is going through with his bad back. Obviously you're not a knowledgeable basketball fan. Here's why: 1. Transition defense. Lakers have ZERO of that this season because of old players. Everybody knows old players don't like to run. You already figured out why the Nuggets took the Lakers to 7 games even if the Nuggets' best player was Gallinari? If you haven't figured it out by now then you're hopeless. 2. The Lakers have no shooters. It will be DH, Pau, Peace, Kobe, and Nash in the last 5 minutes of the 4th qtr. Who will DH or Pau kick the ball out to if doubled?  Kobe is not a spot up shooter.  Peace is not a good 3pt shooter. Only Nash can hit the open 3 on a consistent basis. Teams will just collapse in the paint when they play the Lakers. And once the Lakers miss and they can't get the offensive rebound, it's 2 points on the other end from a fastbreak. 3. No coach. Mike Brown is not a coach, he's a clown. HAHAHA

Good post! I am worried more about the 76ers than the Lakers. The 76ers will be a better team if Bynum stays healthy. Good coach and good young core of players.

Regarding LA, you hit on all the relevant points. LA will not be able to beat OKC. As stated, no 3-point shooters and no transition defense.

Re: Can't Win if You Can't Sit Down Properly

The Lakers have two issues to worry about.

The biggest is chemistry.  Kobe is just not that good a catch and shoot guy.  He is excellent with premeditated shots even if the difficulty level is high.  He thus needs the ball in his hands.  But then so does Nash.  And Howard also holds on to the ball in the post.  Additionally, both Howard and Nash were at their best when playing with good catch and shoot guys.

The second issue is Nash's health.  He should expect to get beaten up a little all through the season.

Having said that, the Lakers should expect to have a phenomenal defense.  That should distinguish them.

One clown is enough. Guess that's what Kobe is saying. HAHAHA

Kobe did not tell him anything , its the writer of the article that says to cut out the clowning around

I am not spinning anything , the article did not quote Kobe. its the writers opinion

maybe you should take some reading comprehension classes

I think he is just pointing out (rightly) that he predicted the lakers success this year.
