    Celtics February Schedule

We are almost through the easy part of the Feb schedule.  Bobcats next and then it starts to get more difficult.   What are your predictions for how we do from now to the end of February?  Only request of the thread is:  No trade proposals in this thread.  This is about the CURRENT Celtics team.

I say we end up 7 up and 4 down.  They loose Dallas and Chicago (back end of back to back games on the road, especially traveling from Detroit to Dallas).  Then lose OKC and one other game in that stretch.  I think they split with Chicago.

    Feb. 7      Charlotte
    Feb. 9      Lakers
    Feb. 10    at Toronto
    Feb. 12    Chicago
    Feb. 15    Detroit
    Feb. 16    at Chicago
    Feb. 19    at Detroit
    Feb. 20    at Dallas
    Feb. 22    at OKC Thunder
    Feb. 28    at Cleveland
    Feb. 29    Milwaukee

I hope you're right.  They would be smoking hot if they can do that with 6 road, many against good teams.  Certainly possible the way they are playing but the stiffer competition from the Bulls, Mavs, Lakers, and Thunder will be a good test.  Looking forward to these games!

Gotta be one "disappointing loss" and one "great win".  We beat Chicago at home and who knows where the suprise loss will be.

Either way if we can win 7 or 8 games that would be great.  Especially considering how many of these games are on the road.

    I think 5-6 is realistic

Got to throw the 2 Bulls games plus Dallas & OKC road games as losses.. THats 4.

Celts play bad at Cleve...and throw in at least on more loss.. prob either Lakers or Bucks...a back 2 back game in Boston right after long road trip..

The Celtics look like a team that could drop out of the playoffs.  Sure KG and Bass could have helped but isn't somebody always injured that could help.  We are going to have some spurts but it comes down to games like tonight too often.

We will end up making few moves and blow the thing up at the end of the year.

I hope I am wrong but tonight against the Pistons we saw how far this team is from its former greatness.  They need to blow it up.

They had it going for a while but when they lost to the Lakers, the fragile Celtics fell apart and we again look like the team we were early in the season.

A few years back, if you had posted "fragile Celtics", I would haved countered "That's an oxymoron."
    Not now.

The road is a problem for the C's. No it wasn't been a big deal a couple years ago, but those days are gone. If they play 500 ball on the road at this pt I would be surprised.

Making the playoff's as the 7th or 8th seed would be the worst thing that could happen to the C's.  I don't like to lose, but i would rather finish dead last and get a great player and start the rebuilding, then finish in the middle of the pack year after year!!
