Wow...

How things have changed since our two heros have left.

I always thought that Mike Gorman was a Celtic owner's brother in law or cousin, how else could he keep his job. After tonight, he has moved down a notch.

While I can only speculate as to his response about KG having his number retired, he obviously has an adjenda. KG did nothing less than bring the team first concept back to Boston. While Pierce was an integral part, even he said that KG changed the culture in Boston.

KG is the most sigificant player in Boston since Bird.

Every one has favorites, but give KG his due.
What did Gorman say?
After Tommy said that KG's number should be retired, he asked Gorman what he thought.

Gorman said, with attitude, I would have to think about that.

Earlier, Gorman said that Pierce was his favorite Celtic player, and I can accept that. Pierce is a great player. However, it appears to diminish Pierce's legacy if KG should also have his number retired.
Iin the past I've heard Gorman say just the opposite. Didn't hear that comment. Are you sure he wasn't just being facetious ? Gorman is still one of the best pbp guys out ther.
No, I read people very well. Obviously Gorman is a two faced brother in law.

    Rondo's a great player.

But he's just not a good fit in Brad Stevens' system.

No, Rondo needs two legs and a jump s hot to be a great player...currently he has but one functioning leg and he's NEVER had a decent jump s hot.....NEVER
I have no idea why just about everyone here says Rondo is either great or they hate him. I just see a good pg. He isnt really someone I get worked up about either way.

Had a chance. Everyone just stood around watching Rondo on that crucial play, and did nothing to help. Hump threw a fake pick when he needed to set a pick to clear off D. Will. Oh well, got the result I was hoping for. Close game only to lose at the end. Now if only Phili will start winning alittle. These guys don't do anything to make something happen. Just stand around at the 3 point line and watch. On the floor we have 4 spectators and one rehabber struggling to make something happen. Shame.

Really? Who's hall does he belong in?

Does anyone out side of Boston even know who or care who he is?  He has a face for radio, he says great things while players are here and then changes his tune later. John Most, he is not.

    Not all.

Some here were saying the Celts would win more than 41 games.

One even said you're a FOOL if you don't think this year's Celts is not better than Antoine Walker's 1998 team that won 36 games.

jump, as you should be aware, winning is secondary this year. improvement while losing is the premium these days, and that's what we saw tonight.

It was a problem last year as well. The Celts will not bring back the glory days with Rondo as the leader. May he play well enought to garner a great trade.

    TANKING - WITH HONOR!!!

Rondo is a good PG with a less that consistent jump s**t! In my view he is not a max contract and or face of the franchise type player!

I do think he plays at his best under the bright lights / big games! He is certainly entertainimg to watch!
