insofar as the pick- true. But the C's did make those 2 key trades to put them back in the Championship picture.

Yes, but the Celts tanked in 2007, right?

Mployee is claiming that the Celts don't need to be bad to be contenders again.

The Celts already tanked twice in the past, in 1997 and 2007.

Right now Mployee is claiming we can become contenders by trading the likes of Bass, Humpy, and our 1st round picks.

Would a team give up an All-Star player for the likes of Bass and Humpy plus 1st round picks not in the top 5?

They better trade for some center cuz if they depend on the draft we will stink for another 4 years ... your plan!!!

Don't put words in my mouth, I didn't say that! It will take Danny more than one season to become a contender via trades but it will be faster than starting over with only draft picks as a rebuild.

And how come you were so fast to jump off the Tankapalooza Bandwagon when it was made public that Danny was close to getting Asik you hypocrite!!!

    Your plan is pure fantasy.

Because the Celts become a different team with Asik.

But just like David West for JO, Asik for Bass and Lee was too good to be true.

Unlike you, I'm a realist and a Celtic fan.

    I'm not crazy like you.

Really feel that you have to try and build through the draft AND try to make a key trade for an Allstar and/or a couple of good seasoned vets- if possible. I don't totally trust solely relying on the draft. Look at all the picks Charlotte, Cleveland etc have had and they're consistently bad. On the other hand, *Clippers had tons of picks and didn't start to win until they made trades and Fa. I get your point as well. *Clips were famous for drafting good players and then not resigning them. It's all madness and don't really think there's an exact science to it.

I never said 5-10 years of mediocrity.

That's the problem with you, if you can't win the argument, you make up stories.

Once again you proved me right, that you're indeed a SERIAL LIAR!

Show the post where I said we will be in mediocrity for 5-10 years and I'll leave this board.

Yeah the core of this group is so sucatacious that we are down 1 with seconds to go ... We really sux. A center or a scoring wing wouldn't make a difference. We better blow it up and draft for the next 4 years ... Right?

    That is so true!

We only got 2 points from Bayless tonight, the only guard who played off the bench.

But what did Ainge do with Lee?

He traded Lee for an expiring contract, right?

Trading Lee for Bayless is a downgrade, right?

    So Tankapalooza is officially over?

    HAHAHA

That's why we're going to get another 1st round pick for Humpy.
