Lets talk about this.
1. Can NASH STAY HEALTHY THATS A ????????????. Hes 39...and has HUGE INJURY HISTORY..
Lets examine steve Nash's injury history, and for this situation, lets make the comparison with your guy, Rajon Rondo. We can look back 5 years and compare, and lets see what we find. Rajon Rondo started and played in 77, 80, 81, 68, and 53 games last year. Steve Nash played in and started 81, 74, 81, 75, and 62 last year. Rondo started and played in 359 games over that period, and Steve Nash played in 373 over that same time period. I think you might want to reconsider the injury history thing.
2. kome...isnt 19 like you think..hes mid 30's 3.
Of course he is not 19, but he is still an elite player, still one of the best at his position, and will be able to let Nash run the offense. You all are just kidding yourself if he isn't just licking his chops to be able to play without the ball. And this year, unlike last, he actually has someone to play behind him in Meeks, who replaces Kapono. His usage rate will be able to be taken down, and he will have more energy to expend on defense. The series of events that have occured in Lakers land this offseason is going to be good for Kobe.
3. RON...nuff said hes ready for a big suspension..
Ron got better toward the end of the season last year, got healthy, and was pretty good playing his role as a defensive specialist. Ron is going to be wide open a lot in the offense, so he will probably shoot better. As far as the Celtics are concerned, Ron will effect Pierces game.
You are ridiculous with that Garbage. I suppose you would rather the undersized, no rebounding Bass instead? Gasol is an elite low post player, and and excellent interior passing big man, who rebounds in double digits, a problem every team in the league would love to have. And just for good measure, he is a true 7 footer who can play center in the league better than most, and will lead this second unit when Howard goes to the bench. Not your run of the mill back up center, another problem every team in the NBA would love to have.
5..DWIGHT..hes going to miss part of the season..because of being injured...going to la...wont make HIS BACK ISSUES GO AWAY
No one knows for sure when he will make his appearance this season. But Dwight is right on schedule to make it back on time, as he has resumed running and working out. The head of Orthopedic Surgery at Cedars Sinai, who has intimate knowledge of this surgery sure seems to think he will make it back to start the season. But I know, the mediats are speculating something else. Dwight is going to be back to full strength when he does come back. This is the medical professional's prognisis, the expected outcome. There will not be ongoing issues, Dwight will be Dwight, per the doctors. The Lakers aren't stupid.
6. jameson....injury prone 7.
He is a bench player, and the Lakers also have a real nice big off the bench in Jordan Hill, who rebounds reeal nice, and plays good defense. The Lakers front court is kind of loaded.
Probably not the Lakers best bench position, but an athletic player who can play defense, and get out and run. No team is going to be awesome at every place on the roster. But with the addition of Jodie Meeks, Jamison, and resigning Jordan Hill, this years bench is miles ahead of last years catastrophe.
