Danny Ainge Always has been a Colossal Moron

remember Marcus Banks? Ricky Davis? Wally Szerbiak? Tom Gugliatta? Raef LaFrentz? Gerald Green? Sebastian Telfair? JR Giddens? Patrick O Bryant? Stephon Marbury? Lester Hudson? letting Bill Walker go for Nate and then letting Nate go?

Trading your starting center Perkins on a first place team for a weak swingman  Jeff Green and relying on a 40 year old center with a bad Achilles?

Danny Ainge has always been a total moron; he got lucky in 2007-2008 and the only reason that happened is that he was best friends with an even bigger moron in Kevin McHale who handed him Garnett for Al Jefferson and a bunch of losers.

They are not too many Kevin McHales out there for Danny to trade with. He reverted to form with the Perkins deal. First time in history a first place team that everyone thought was the best in the league make such a drastic idiotic move.

Our future is quite bleak with Danny Boy running the show. We are going back in the Lottery in the near future, and I doubt this imbecile Ainge will be able to rebuild the team

    Can't spell Mormon without Moron.

Ainge put together this group that has contended for the last 4 years, not many other franchises can say they have done that.  How he transitions out of this era will go a long way in determining his skill as an executive.

22 years in the toilet - Pitino, Carr, the Gastons.
Danny brought us back from the dead.  And he will always be revered in Boston for his grit as a player, and for giving us #17.......luck had nothing to do with it!!

    Agreed.

Danny inherited a team that was too good to get good players in the draft but not good enough to win.  That team was what caused him to get all the players mentioned - Giddens, Walker, blah blah.  Danny was very fortunate to have T Ratliff and Wally S because those two expiring contracts are the only reasons the big 3 was assembled without them Danny would have needed a bunch more players that could not play to obtain KG and Ray.

Danny now has 4 players that take up 52 of 58 million of the salary cap and how he dissolves the Big 3 will be a big part of his legacy.  Kind of like Washington, by resigning Ray and Paul, etc. Danny deferred the pain and perhaps the big decisions re. the Big 3.

Danny Ainge is a moron. Maybe if the weather was better in beantown during basketball season, the celtics could get a real GM that didn't mind living there. Cool

I thought they outlawed that Colossal Mormon stuff. As for being a general manager, other than deliver on his promise to bring a title to Boston, yeah, he's been pretty limited.
