    Deadline Extensions

CSNNE reports that the C's will extend Sullinger but not Brooks or Crawford. No agreement has been made on Bradley so it looks like he will become an RFA.

Jared Sullinger is a no-brainer and as long as he can stay healthy on (and off) the court, he is definitely here for the long term (unless of course he is considered the Al Jefferson chip to the hypothetical new KG trade).  Bottom line is that Ainge has some work to do just as the season gets started.  Keep in mind that all of these deals, even if they are considered “low money,” factor into next year as well as future seasons.  Especially if, as Adrian Wojnarowski points out, that Brad Stevens could have interest in his former Butler player, Gordon Hayward.

    already!

already throwing games by suspending sullinger.if this were the nba finals there would be no way the celtics suspend him for one minute much less for one game.

    Question for anybody:

By not extending Brooks before this season, does that mean the team option for next year goes away and be becomes an RFA?

Dude. If you think that suspending Sullinger for one game is in any way going to affect this team (other than in a positive way) or is associated with tanking, you are clueless.
