unless they specifically negotiate a clause where they can come back here after the lockout ends, NBA rookies don't have pre-existing contracts yet that foreign clubs have to respect under FIFA international contract rules.  This seems to mean that rookies are, under int'nat'l rules, free agents

So we need to watch out for
    (1) an out-clause
    (2) the number of years on the contract

[QUOTE]http://www.sportando.net/eng/italy/serie-a/29833/cimberio_varese_close_to_sign_diawara_and_e_twuan_moore.html The guard spot in Varese will be filled by E'Twuan Moore. The product of Purdue averaged 18ppg, 5.2rpg and 3.1apg in his senior year with Boilmakers and then was drafted by Boston Celtics with the 55th overall pick. The two parts are finalizing the deal who will be with an NBA escape but just for few days when the lockout ends. It is very unlikely that Boston Celtics will need him from the season 2011-12. Not sure what that "NBA escape" for a few days mean.

I dont think it would really matter, seemed like the celtics are more interested in Gilbert Brown the undrafted guard than Moore.

55th pick........ hhhmmmm..... I would have thought Danny would have had a non-compete clause immediately built into his contract - we absolutely cannot afford risk having the absolute-best-elite-blue-chip-dominant-super-star-Michael?-draft-picks unavailable when the season starts in October of 2012.......
