never been a big fan of cutting off my nose to spite my face. i couldn't care less what the Heat do. i'm pretty sure DA is more worried about improving his own team than not improving someone else's.

and he's going to be a FA

    and Boston already has Rondo

there is only 1 PG position

    Then trade AB or Rondo.

Keep JC and Rondo or JC and AB, but don't trade JC.
JC will only be a FA if Danny doesn't offer him a QO ... Sure another team could step up and make him a higher offer but Danny can match or do a S&T if it's too much.

Trade with the Heat? I wouldn't give them a tube of sunscreen if they were in the 10th day of a Heatwave .... F them!

Doesn't Miami own Philly's (protected) 1st.?  Trade JC for that pick.  If we are not winning it all, I don't care who wins it as long as we get better faster.

It's top 14 protected for 2014 and 2015 ... then in 2016 it's worth two 2nd rd picks. It won't provide much juice.

I don't want Jordan Crawford traded.

JC can play 2 positions, SG and PG.

He can start or come off the bench.

    And he's 6-4.
Agree 200%

Crawford is looking more and more like he could be our 2.  He could sub for Bradley and Rondo and be very effective.  He has youth, size, create his own shot, court vision (can pass and shoot), confidence, and it appears he is coachable.  The guy has talent and the makings of a great sixth man.  He is one of the pieces you look for and he should be affordable.  Call him fools goal but he has shown it on the court during NBA competition.  Hold on to Crawford, Sullinger, Fav, KO, and Green.  Keep Rondo and Bradlely if $$$$$$$ does not cause a trade.

What if we traded Crawford and Wallace for expirings to Miami?

I like Crawford, but that would be a deal Danny would have to take.

Anybody is tradeable for the right price - to Miami or eslewhere - if Celtics Mgmt thinks it benefits us more.

The fact that we got Crawfdord for peanuts and could move him for significant value is one of the biggest surprises and bright spots and on the team so far this year.
