RR could have a triple double today .... so far he's 15-4-4 shooting 7-8 with 1-2 on threes and only 2-3 layups.

    Note: I used "shooting"

    shooting..it works!

I think Bass is a keeper. I know I'm in the minority on that, but Bass has really improved this year. He is just so valuable on defense. He can switch onto any player. His post offense has really improved. I think he's on a fair contract at 6.5M.

This team just needs to replace Green with someone who can knock down shots and play aggressively. I still think that could be Hayward.

    [/QUOTE]

Yes, he has. Really stepped his game up with no KG and PP.

+ 1 to your point - at least with C. Johnson you know what you are getting each game!

Every1 has their jumper going today except Green. Avery struggling a bit. But that's to be expected.

Avery is the most selfless basketball player on this team. By all accounts he is a great teammate. All he cares about is winning and does whatever it takes. He is the most aggressive Celtic and plays his heart out.

Not doing anything to improve his trade value, that's for sure. We may be stuck with him!

Jeff is so dissapointing. He misses and laughs like "God just doesn't want them to go in tonight" verses a tough minded player who gets angry and attacks the basket to make his own luck when things aren't going well.

Make it $6.75MM and I'm in otherwise there are better opportunities at SG.

Gordon Hayward is asking for 12m per year.

You're not going to find a better SG than AB for less than 8m per year.

    From the Detroit Free Press;

If a high-level player like Celtics point guard Rajon Rondo becomes available, would the Pistons consider it? Absolutely.

But will they trade Monroe just to add a needed shooter or solid player that isn’t a game-changer? Highly unlikely.

+1 ... Fiercy is trying to downplay Hayward in favor of Bradley ... Hayward won't come close to $12MM ... I'd bet it's less than $10MM. In any event, I'd like to see Hayward at SF and Turner or Afflalo at SG.

Both are hybrid 2/3.  Turner may get a larger contract but really like to play point forward.  Affalo is uni-dimensional.

I think that's fair. Especially if you scale it.

    Year 1: 6

    Year 2: 7

    Year 3: 8

    Year 4: 9

He will be worth 9M per in 4 more years.

I agree that Hayward will be a much better addition at that price.  My problem is, how do the Celts get him at that price.  Utah will just keep him.
