You can just feel the differece in the attitude on D the intensity was great. We may have gave up over a 100 paints but Orlando made great shots all night they were lights out. Great game tonight. KG is the heart and soul of this team.

What are you talking about? Pierce held Turkoglu to just 4-11 shooting. If you're talking about that 3-pointer Turkoglu made, with the shot clock winding down late in the 4th qtr., Pierce was right there, in front of Turkoglu. Turkoglu just made a great shot, it wasn't because he was left wide open.

Paul Pierce played a very good game tonight. His on the ball defense was very very good.

    Great game.
Imagine if we were playing with more than a 38 year old Center with no backup off the bench against Howard who is arguably the best center in the league today.  Shaq managed 2 rebounds, Howard 13.  I think Shaq is playing above expectations, but this game could have been really lopsided if we were able to match up stronger against DH.  Although, DH managed to not block any shots at all for the whole game and we scored quite a lot in the paint.  That seems a bit odd since DH also only managed one personal foul the whole game.

You were joking or you were being sarcastic, right?  You couldn't really be serious.

Substitute Luke's name trying to cover Anderson and it might make sense, but not Paul.

Luke got slapped all over the court last night.

Anderson scored most his points off weak defense from Luke.. he failed many times on box outs or even being in position.  One of Lukes worse games.

You may have a point, Turkoglu abused him the first game against the Magic, and Trevor Ariza, hit the game winner over him for the Hornets. Just to name a couple this year, he has a tendency to be a little lazy, staying with his man at the three point line. Maybe KG needs to have a talk with him!!

I'd love to see this as its own thread (revisited, I guess).  It would be fascinating to get folks' views.  What criteria was being used when the question was asked (your favorite Celt, the most accomplished Celt, the Celt most loved by ALL, etc)??

There was no criteria, just your opinion.

Only a Paul Pierce hater would put Antoine Walker ahead of Paul Pierce on his list of all-time Celtic greats.

If you remember the Hornets game at Boston, Ray Allen had the last. But according to kyceltic the Celtics lost because Pierce didn't try hard enough.

Against the Spurs, when Ray missed two FTs that would have sealed the deal, kyceltic said if the Celtics lost it was because of Pierce's turnover that led to a Tony Parker layup.

I think you get the picture.
