    In response to wozzy's comment:

    Starters in bold:

PG - Rondo, Pressey <starts the season at PG until Rondo gets back

SG - Bradley, Lee, Brooks, Crawford

    SF - Green, Wallace, Bogans

    PF - Olynyk, Bass

    C - Sullinger, Faverani, Humphries

Assuming Rondo isn't ready to start the season than Bradley could get the nod, though if everything goes great Pressey will impress in camp and take the starting PG job until Rondo gets back.  Also I have high hopes for Faverani taking the center position and rolling with it as well as Brooks maturing enough to take over the shooting guard position, I readily admit that this paragraph is wild eye'd, pie in the sky thinking and I'm projecting upward but I have a lot of faith in Danny Ainge's ability to spot talent.

Assuming this ^ fantasy scenario happens and everything goes right, the starting five of the future would be: Rondo, Brooks, Green, Olynyk and Vitor.  People will ask what about Sully, I have deep concerns about his back being able to handle a starting load over the course of a season and he could be very effective as a 6th man.  There is also the distinct possibility that once Rondo returns and proves he is healthy and Pressey has already shown he can start Rondo will be a trading chip.  In that case swap out Rondo for Pressey above...

Clearly you said Pressey would be the starting PG when the season starts.

You didn't read for comprehension AGAIN!!!!

I mean, how clear can it be that the guy assumes Bradley starts at PG for RR unless Pressey wows them in camp. That didn't happen so by default his statement is correct that Bradley most likely gets the start. Jeesh!! You're trying that old game of telling the readers what the poster means when indeed what you are saying is what you'd like to think the poster means so you can claim victory.

Once again, you've proved yourself to be the LOSER by your own sword.

My sword pierced through a loser that said Anthony Tolliver would end up with better stats than Glen Davis back in 2011.

Since 2011 that loser never again came near my sword.

    In response to wozzy's comment:

Sully will not technically be a center in my projected lineup as Olynyk will defend the low post or whoever the opposing center is, but Sully will be a big focus of the low post offense assuming he is healthy because Olynyk is better playing facing the basket.  I had Bradey and Pressey on the floor at the same time because they would basically be playing "small ball" with two point guards.

I agree with most sentiments on this thread by those who say Bass and others could start to make them attractive as trade bait, anything goes this year.

Re: Give us your projected Celtic's depth chart...

    In response to wozzy's comment:

Pressey led all Celtics in minutes last night against the Knicks and should start until Rondo gets back, he was really efficient 4-5 floor, 5-6 free throws, 3 boards, 7 assists, 0 turnovers, 2 steals with 13 points.

Bradley wasn't great last night but this Chris Babb kid caught my eye, not only is he the prototypical size for shooting guard at 6'5" 225 pounds, he is a dead eye shooter both in Summer League (57% from 3 point land, 90% free throws) but last night he was lights out shooting 4-5 on his threes, adding 2 assists and a blocked chot in 8 minutes, let's see if he can maintain this with extended minutes.

Oly had his worst night as a pro including all off season games, I hope he rebounds with a strong showing next game.  He was going to have some struggles adjusting to the pros, better he does it in preseason and finds his groove when it counts.

This was posted less than a month after I posted on the thread you're reading and a week before the regular season began, the "tank" was something I readily admitted prior and all throughout both posts was very likely to happen:

Here is my post for those too lazy to click the link above or those like Fiercy who have reading comprehension problems. It was for a thread entitled "who will start Wednesday just for fun."

"Who will start:  Bradley, Lee, Wallace, Sully and Bass.

We're hoping all of the players above do something to make them all attractive in trade.  Green could very well start in place of Lee to start just so Green doesn't sulk and lose confidence which he doesn't have much of to begin with.  Expect max minutes for all of these guys along with Hump.

Who should start if we were playing strictly to win:  Pressey, Babb, Wallace, Oly and Faverani.

These are the guys I think Ainge will want to keep (except Wallace$) so don't expect many minutes from these guys with the lone exception of Oly (and Wallace), Ainge can always say no if people ask about him in trade because he's a first year player or can include him in a blockbuster sized trade because he'll hold a lot of value for what he has done to date.

The C's will be looking for that superstar player to stick in Wallace's spot either via trade or with a high draft pick, LeBron would look good there to me but I don't think he'll ever leave Miami so we'll have to be satisfied with a high pick player."

Hey Fierce, only a fool repeats themselves over and over again after thoroughly being dissed and dismissed.  I know with the difficulty you have focusing and you can't follow more than a thread at a time, but try and keep up will you?

    Exactly!

    You just proved my point.

Your tendency is to change your story to suit your argument.

What you're doing is moving the goal post, so to speak.

Just like you said Fav will be a starting NBA Center next season.

You made a bold prediction, back in October, that Fav will end up a legit starting NBA Center this season.

    That didn't happen, right?
