Grizz are proof of a good trade unlike the McFale fiasco.

Well done to the Grizz, Marc Gasol is coming up big for Memphis and the addition of other pieces shows what can be done when a plan is put in place and surrounded with good decision making.

Unlike the Kevin McFale fiasco where McFale plundered and destroyed the TWolves No wonder the good folk of Minny hate the guy. The disgrace is his and bostons but then again, what's new?!

Ignorant and moronic, typical troll trash

At the time of the trades Marc Gasol was an unknown putting up mediocre #'s playing overseas

Big Al was the same age as Marc but just put up 18-11 in the NBA

KG was 30, Pau was 27

Gomes and Telfair were decent young players

Crittenden a thug who is out of the league

EVERYONE in the game agreed 'Sota got an elite young PF, best possible offer for KG (they asked for amare and were turned down).

Multiple owners and GM's cried foul when LA got Gasol and said they had better offers but were not allowed to the table (Bulls offered Deng and Gordon)

Anyhow... this Lakers troll is highly amusing in his idiocy and inability to grasp the simple facts

Re: Grizz are proof of a good trade unlike the McFale fiasco.

    FACTS:

Big Al (despite major knee injury) has been a 20-10 PF since he was traded for KG

Marc Gasol has been a 12-8 player since the trade

    They are the same age

KG has been a 16-8 player (w/ a major knee injury) since the trade

Pau has been an 18-10 all-star and the real MVP of the 2010 playoffs

Pau is 4 years younger than KG.

Grizz being in the playoffs THREE AND A HALF YEARS after they swapped Gasol's does nothing to change that the Celtics gave fair value at the time for KG while the Lakers did not for Pau.

    Laker-Nation remains absolute ignorant fool

Laker-Nation pathetically attempts to bring a dozen years of being a bad GM into a discussion about two trades??

    hahahahaha

The points I made remain the undisputed facts

KG trade was FAR more fair than the Pau Gasol trade

no dispute... Big Al arrived in Minnesota and year 1 was a 23 point 11 rebound PF

Almost a year after they traded away Pau, Marc Gasol arrived as a 12-7 C and has barely improved since. The T-E-A-M def improved.

Simply b/c he is having a great playoffs three and a half years after the trade does not make it more fair than the Celtics trading an established 20-10 guy for an aging superstar while the Lakers traded an unknown playing in spain for a star in his absolute prime.

    Laker-Nation - 100% WRONG

But keep bringing that knife to a gunfight FOOL

have anymore articles about how McHale blew some drafts as proof to how the KG trade was a fiasco and the Gasol trade fair???

    hahaha

you have been OWNED by the truth in this discussion

Anyone who swaps a 30 year old 20-10 for a 21 year old 20-11 is justified

Anyone who swaps a 27 year old 20-9 PF for a 21 year old playing mediocre ball in Spain they'd have to wait 2 years for anything good from made the far more dubious move.

Keep posting the same article that DOES NOT MAKE YOUR POINT
