In response to Mployee8's comment:
It took years before Danny gave Rondo $8-9MM/yr and he proved himself winning a championship. Ainge isn't likely to give Bradley much more than the $6MM he's already put on the table.
As far as Rondo goes ... He's under contract for this year and next so there's no rush for Danny to extend him. Worse comes to worse, if Danny wants to keep him come the summer of 2015 he can fall back on Bird Rts. I don't see Danny giving a max contract to Rondo who will be 28 in Feb 2014. Why would Danny give a max contract to Rondo when he'll be almost 30 when that new contract would kick in? That max contract will be saved for a "franchise player of the future" not one of the past and I'm sure that Rondo understands that otherwise he will be traded.
Dismiss the talk by some other poster here citing numbers of $25MM/yr for Rondo and Bradley as our guards for the next 4-5 years ... That's hogwash!!! Ainge won't give Rondo a max deal and he won't pay Bradley $8MM ...
We'll see about that.
If Ainge is not going to give AB 8m per year, another team will.
Same with Rondo, if Ainge won't give Rondo a max deal, another team will.
I think James Posey and Tony Allen leaving for more money should have teached you a lesson.
But you're too stubborn to learn from past mistakes.
I think that's the reason why you're always wrong.
Rondo not a max player?
You're crazy if you believe that.
If they are so valuable then Danny will S&T both before he lets them walk out the door for more $ than he is willing to pay with nothing in return.
