"So much for the Celtics fans infatuation with the Lakers not having a lottery pick. "
I don't care if the Lakers do or don't have a lottery pick.
I love how you have desperately tried to reframe the discussion. Before the season you were getting ready to hand out rings to your troll pals and now you are trying to portray it as some great success if the Lakes make the playoffs as an 8 seed before getting pushed out. Only you will consider that a success. Not Kobe.
I just like watching them lose after some of the scmoes and trolls you used to call your buddies in this forum decided they could win 72 games this year. I like knowing they won't win a championship and you'll have to watch Howard, who you and your pals/aliases gloated about, sign as a free agent somewhere else...because he can't stand Kobe.
Yeah, Kobe had an awesome game. Awesome.
Unlike some Celts fans I consider him a top 10 all time NBA player, disturbing Colorado incident and phony marriage notwithstanding, though his chances of breaking the top 5 went down when he shot his team out of the playoffs a couple of times.
Yeah, he's human all right. He has a hard time getting along with franchise centers, sharing the ball, and doing what his team needs him to do do win games.
Doctor's list above also failed to mention that Kobe refused to shoot and humiliated is teammates in one of the most pathetic and immature playoff games ever vs. the Suns in 2007
He is a piece of trash... maybe you consider him top 10, but I put him 12-15
MJ, Russ, Kareem, Wilt, Bird, Magic, Oscar, Moses, Hakeem, Shaq and LeBron (when alls said and done) are superior. Duncan, KG, Elvin Hayes and Stockton probably are, they are def guys I would 100% rather start a team with.... actually anybody would prefer to start a team with one of those guys then KoME. He can battle Dr. J, Havlicek and Malone for the next spots.
Stats are from shooting a lot, getting lucky a lot, having one of the league's best C's every year (except the 3 he bowed out in rd 1, showed up/humiliated his teammates, threatened to demand a trade and sign sign with a crosstown rival, etc.) all while being a disgusting human being.
There were 7-8 wings active during the 00-02 title years who would have three-peated with Shaq and Phil, who couldn't stand the punk.
