What will Brown & Gray cost ... The LLE and a Vet Minimum?

That leaves the MLE (J Crawford?) and the PTE ($3M?) to be used in conjunction with a S&T (Davis) for another Big (West/Dalembert/Nene/Jordan?) as well.
Sign and trade Glen Davis, another stupid assumption. Why would other teams help the Celtics out by agreeing to a sign and trade for Glen Davis when Glen Davis is an unrestricted free agent? Sign Glen Davis to a contract and he's not yours! No need to worry about Celts matching your offer. Stupid mployees! Ugh!
    Posted by Fiercest34
Why would the other team be helping us? If we make an offer to Jordan and the Clips don't want to match it, wouldn't it be in their best interest to get something for him rather than let him walk? We could offer Davis and Trade Exception $ to the Clips and they get a player that they can use or trade as well as TE $ for another trade of their own ... both teams win if LA doesn't want to commit to Jordan. Now I'm not saying that they will back down on an offer for this player but it is their history so it's worth a try.

Of course they would. Ray and KG returns for vet's minimum then hopefully joining them would be Dwight and Austin Rivers.

    LOL ... $1m!

Clippers general manager Neil Olshey stopped short of guaranteeing the team would match any offer for Jordan, but sounded confident in the franchise's resolve to do so.

Hahaha ... you believe that! Sterling won't give a third year player $6M per ... History says he's too cheap to do that. Only reason for another team to not offer the MLE is the Clips can hold it up and match while other free agents are getting scooped up. That's the risk of making an offer of the MLE too soon.

WHERE ARE YOU?? LOL! Weren't you the one that was so confident that Perk and/or BBD weren't going anywhere?? Ainge wasn't trying to trade? Why fix something that's not broken? I kept telling you that Ainge ALWAYS makes deals...ALWAYS at the deadline. Why people thought he wasn't going to do anything is perplexing to me.

I don't make predictions like that that have poor risk/reward ratios ... But I will bet you that KG & Ray won't resign for Vet Minimums as currently calculated. Find out what each would receive today for minimums and I'll bet they are either traded or sign for much more than that minimum.

No I don't ... see, lying again and trying to spread lame distortions to win over a few 12 year olds to your juvinile way of thinking ... You own the adolescences on this board already don't you ... still looking for more young boys Perv34?

That's proof that I want to trade Ray Allen?

Indicating that we could get a needed PF and SG with a backup C if we are willing to part with Ray doesn't mean that I want to get rid of Ray ... you are pitiful. That's exactly the point ... you spread posts out of context in an attempt to drum up support for all your twelve year old followers .... this entire board engages in GM playing making suggestions all the time. You could call out anybody anytime for liking one player over another, suggesting trades or cause their opinion clashes with yours ... it's just childish and supports your natural following. And I'll remind you that nobody has made more rediculous calls or predictions than you:

Ohhh ... so my point was what? That if the C's were willing to part with Ray that that is a trade that fits the numbers and gives us some players that could help in transition till 2012/2013? Gee, I must be the first one to ever suggest a trade combo on this board eh?

You know who we'll draft next year and if KG will be back and how much he'll be paid ... and your giving me crap?

Pal .... time to look in the mirror and reexamine yourself instead on other men's profiles .... Crickets

Kirk: Thanks for the UTube Highlights. I am looking forward to seeing what JJ can bring to us. I didn't know much about him, but since they picked him I have watched what I could find and analyzed the stats. I think this guy will be good. He looks like he has good character as well.

    Thanks Kirk!

Looks to me like JJ is "dyn-o-miiite"!  He has the physical tools to not only guard  the Durants and Dirk's, but do it very well!

I would love to see him at the three when we have touble getting boards.

He has better physical tools to do so. Let's see if he's mentally equipped.

Can you imagine us having two K.G. quality defenders on the floor at the same time in the front court?
