Message to Pierce: Grow Up Already!

Your the captain, please start acting like one. You're 33 years old and you're still doing crap like your 23...maybe that's why the unspoken captain is KG because you still haven't matured. Just play...d%$n it!!!

The reffs giving the Bulls, Heat, and Lakers an edge in the games but the Hawks and Mavericks overcame it and the Celtics have in the past been able to overcome the calls and noncalls.  NBA would love to see a Bulls Heat series and they would dearly love to have a Heat Laker finals.  Celtics in 7.

Grow up!! C'mon man! He was clearly getting jobbed in these calls AND HE'S A SUPERSTAR. If the refs are going to act like all of a sudden they aren't going to protect the superstars then we might as well send in Pavlovic to put 2-3 hard fouls on James and see what happens.

Jones got away with a flagrant and they both got techs...why? Because they missed the call. Then PP sets a legal pick and says something to Wade. Things are said between players all the time on the court but rarely do you see a tech called. It wasn't directed towards the ref.

PP is going to say all the right stuff but it was a bogus call right when we were making a run and the refs know PP is our closer. It was garbage. PP will fired up tonight. I expect him to go for 30.

Re: Message to Pierce: Grow Up Already!

Of all the current "star" players, Pierce gets the least respect from the referees.  He gets nothing when he goes to the hoop and is grabbed, whacked, and hacked while the other team(s) are bailed out and handed extra shots.  What was the FT differential: 32-18?  It's frustrating to say the least when they have to play 5 on 8.  No call after no call, differently called games from one end to the other; yeah, who wouldn't get frustrated?  And the last straw were the two legal picks he set on Wade who got chippy after the second one and lashed out.  Pierce deserved that tech like Ed Molloy deserves being an NBA referee.  They both don't.  Molloy went to high school with Donaghy - could that be a testament to his honesty?

Re: Message to Pierce: Grow Up Already!

Bias and Painter you both have to understand that the league is marketing the Heat and the Fakers... thats who they prefer to see in the Finals. The Cs are on a short leash and all the calls and non-calls are going to be game affecting...Cs have got to rise above it. When Pierce loses his cool he's making their job easier to control the outcome. He's been in the league long enough that even he should realize this....the game was still winnable. It's all about the game.
