    Embiid is special.

    I'm hoping that Brad Stevens realizes that.

    I'm pretty sure he does. He would look good in green.

    but neither mock has Embiid getting close to where the Celtics pick?

    unless you think Boston ends up with the  very top pick, embiid probably isn;t an option here.

    are Celtics fans REALLY counting on the ping pong ballss to fall our way for once?

    my guess' right now;

    pick 5-7: M. Smart or R Hood.

    pick 18-20: TJ Warren, A. Payne

    we can wish for Embiid and even Parker...but unless Ainge cna get the pingpong balls to go his way...those guys are unlikely to be Celtics .

    or maybe I am just jaded byt the bad luck of the past.

    Embiid is 3 years away IMO offensively. Great potential, but he is not coming into the NBA next year the same way ADavis did. No where near what ADavis was coming in defensively.

    Bradley needs to be the 6th man. I simply do not like him and Rondo playing so many minutes together. Bradley much better with the 2nd team forcing change of pace.

    Sully needs to be read the riot act on getting into NBA shape or his talent is going to be wasted. We watched Love come into the league kind of pudgy and ditto Sully. Celts need to get Sully to that next level and it starts with getting into shape, and falls into place playing with Rondo.

    Re: mock draft....

    Embid does have a lot of skills you can't coach. For a guy who's only been balling a few years he seems to have a high bball IQ. I'm not comparing him to, but the last guy that size with his footwork was nicknamed "The Dream". Wiggins, in my opinion is overated, kind of like when OJ Mayo was being touted as the next Kobe. Wiggins has NBA skills and maybe will develop into a special player but as of now,not so much. I haven't seen Exum but he'd have to be really impressive if he's ranked higher than Smart. I admittedly don't watch much NCCAA ball as I used to but OSUs Smart is a really good prospect. Smart out of all the big name prospects, looks like he's ready for the NBA today. I'm not saying he has the most potential but after watching a couple of games looks like the ready for NBA player.
