Traded for need had us ask for Green vs. the offer of Harden
Drafting for need had us pass Brooks for Johnson

    Montros and Earl....enough said.

That is not correct - Danny wanted Harden, OKC was only willing to give up Green.

Don't like any of those picks...........Waiters or Lamb, and Melo - that is what we need!  Fournier?  He's a SF - and if we get Green, we won't need one for a few years.  We need help at the 2 and the 5 if we sign KG, or the 2 and the 4 if we get Kaman or Hibbert, and let KG go!!

Agreed on Waiters or Lamb though DraftExpress has Lamb dropping to round two. Ross has more size (if he slides some) and Jenkins may be a little better than Lamb. What do you think? I like Moultrie for a big but I am concerned about his knee tendinitis.

On Fournier, Chad Ford had this to say about a week ago in response to:

French 2 guard Evan Fournier was just named player of the month in France's Pro A and will enter his name in NBA draft. Do you think he could be a sleeper everybody is missing?

Chad Ford: He's the only international player with a really great shot at the first round. If he was a better shooter, he'd be much higher. That's the concern right now.

Chad also had this to say about 2nd round selction Cunningham when asked if he'd be drafted.

Chad Ford: Might even sneak into the first round. Some NBA teams think he might be a point guard at the next level. Watch him closely. With great workouts, he could be a sleeper in this years draft.

He also said that scouts think Zeller has a little Pau Gasol in him and this about Melo:

Do you see Fab Melo making the first round or slipping to the second? Perhaps he could be someone like a DeAndre Jordan, a late pick a center with a ton of upside who puts it together in the pros?

Chad Ford: Doubt he slips out of the first. Could end up even going late lottery mid first round. Not ready at all, but teams draft big guys based purely on upside.

Moultrie, Melo or the Fez may be the only bigs available to us if we can't/don't move up a few spots. Sullinger, Jones, Henson, Zeller & Leonard will all be gone before we pick.
