NEVER FORGET HOW GREAT RONDO WAS THE FIRST 30 GAMES WITH SHAQ IN THE LOW POST

Rondo was spectacular the first 30 games last season with Shaq in the low post.

Then Rondo got hurt , and he got hurt again, and again, and then broke his arm against Miami....

Rondo needs some bigs who can run the floor with him and who can catch the ball in the paint.

And if Jeff Green is "not quite" the guy , sign and trade him for someone who is the perfect fit, even if the player is older. Like Tayshaun Prince on a reasonable one year deal...

No. Rondo needs to become an average mid range jump shooter and FT shooter.

I agree that Rondo has to step up his shooting game cause he can't depend on big guys doing dunking his alley oops, I think he should work more with Ray and Dwest on his shooting game.

I also agree that Rondo needs to improve his shooting ability.  If I remember correctly he had someone helping him last off-season with his shooting.  He really didn't improve even after receiving additional coaching.  Just not sure that Rondo will ever improve much in this area.

Never forget how great Shaq was with Rondo in the first 30 games.  Then Shaq's wheels fell off and he never (could never) got back up.  A big like Tyson Chandler would see his stats elevated beyond his wildest dreams with Rondo, and he can run the court so much better than Shaq (or Perk).  If they could get someone to take JO and sign Chandler and fill in with a low-cost center, they'd be in a better position.

Not sure how it will happen, but the Celtics definitely need another center in addition to Jon.

Given the cap room we Don't have this year and the flexibility Danny and Wyc want to maintain for next year, it will be very difficult to get another good center this year.   Everyone should be prepared for only small moves by Danny to start the year.  We may be a very good team or we may be a team that struggles once we get tired.  Either way, Danny won't do a bad contract to screw up his chances for next year.
