OK DOOMERS, THE WAR IS OVER... DANNY WAS WRONG!

just read an article for earlier today that doc feels its unlikely that shaq will contribute at all the rest of the way. if you give truth serum to danny or if he had taken a look at the future at the trade deadline, no way he makes the perk trade. perky and a healthy jo, esp with the way bb has played like a total dog, would have made this a closer series, perhaps 2-2 or even 1-3. perk is still not the same player he once was (not saying much), he is getting regularly roasted by all the bigs in memphis right now. he stilll cant shoot free throws and almost caused them the game the other day. but perk at this moment is BETTER than shaq despite all the rest shaq had.

shaq had a pre-existing condition, ainge guessed right with jo but totally whiffed with the older and more chronic shaq! had he kept perk, he could have received a jamario moon or anthony parker for the guys we sent to cleveland for a #2. then you deal with the offseason during the off-season. the downsides are no green and no #1 in 2012, as well as still having a salary cap burden in the useless nate robinson. perhaps we could have included him in a deal for a reserve small forward as well. one uselesss guy for another limited guy. frankly, right now, i would rather have either luke or semih out there over baby.

again, with no guarantees with the way the heat are playing and offense as the issue more than the defense, i overall still side with danny but will give in with shaq. let's see what happens the rest of the way in this series!

at the end, couldnt help but notice both ONEALS totally incapacitated and use less. plus how many layips missed and intimidated due to our total lack of athleticism. in retrospect. danny should have prioritized tony allen and perhaps forced danny to give him some run in game 7 of the final when ray and pp were totally dogged. miami has changed the landscape. no longer about deliberate execution, its about size, rebounding and freakish athleticism! we needed more ATHLETES. whatever it takes to get cp3 and dwight howard should be on the table, incl the trading  of all of the big 3 (incl pp), rondo and the all the draft picks of 2012.

In Response to Re: OK DOOMERS, THE WAR IS OVER... DANNY WAS WRONG!:
Thanks for the props. Me, Pummpsie, runrunandrun, Pud. The ones I remember were saying since the trade we were done. Thaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaank youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu Daaaaaaaaaannyyyyyyyyy...
    Posted by RicoCeltic
all the way around. made us soft but skilled. being hard is a nice way to counter freakish athleticism. having tony allen and leon powe around would have changed things big time.  poul attracts fouls like honey with bees. we have noone on our team who can draw fouls consistently. having powe down lowe tonite or in the overtime game changes things.

Even with all the injuries and trade....the Celtics melted down and made mental mistakes with turnovers and refusing to post up on the block or drive to the basket.  Doc did not ride the line up that got us the lead in the 3rd quarter and into the 4th.
