OLAJUWON: "JAVALE MCGEE SHOULD DOMINATE THE LEAGUE!'

    http://outofbounds.weei.com/2012/08/16/olajuwon-javale-mcgee-should-dominate-the-league/

CONTRARIAN predicted this last year and i'm glad that hakeem who worked with him in the same way he did with both kobe and bron can see the same thing. i see javale becoming the second best center (after howard) during this season. like bynum but simply dont see the will to ever get ticked off for greatness. just by seeing hakeem says something about javale. plus he doesnt have the same injury history as bynum although they are the same age. mcgee will surpass DH in 2 seasons. he actually has a far more diverse games and can actually make his free throws. statistically he may surpass howard next year. this kid will be a force to reckon with. he will be the best player on denver's team. a true super star! he also has the pedigree from mom PAM. sometimes it just takes time!

Re: OLAJUWON: "JAVALE MCGEE SHOULD DOMINATE THE LEAGUE!'

There is a long distance between "should" and "will", especially when the IQ factor is part of the equation.  McGee might be decent from the neck down but that's not what really matters when the speed and swirl of the NBA overwhelms a weaker minded player. What McGee can do in drills isn't comparable to what happens when nine other players are on the floor. Show him something, remove all obstacles in his path, and then when he performs read that as game-ready? Please. This guy is a sad clown who will wilt and err under any pressure whatsoever because he doesn't have the mental capabilities of a dining room chair. It's not his fault, but it is his reality, sadly.  He's fortunate that he's seven feet tall and has made some money because any post-career activities won't net him much.
