[QUOTE]In Response to Re: Perkins trade was foolish- Go on record HERE!! : ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Perk's abilities may not have been truly seen as a member of the Celtics because he was playing with the Big three. He is the kind of guy that works in the back end and does the dirty work to complement the team. This is why I can see him as a perfect for the Thunder. I feel better that he was traded to a team that is also a championship contender.

Yes on his absolute best day he is Eric Dampier.

They on the other hand will regret it when his knees go and they are unable to sign Harden or Ibaka under the new CBA after the lockout.

The leader has his thumb in his mouth and blanky he has been carrying around since he was 5 - that is not leadership, that is insubordination.

    Kentucky won nothing.

There is nothing wrong with being objective, critical, encouraging, a homer, etc.  We are all entitled to our opinions.

The ones in which there is not a coherent thought or a complete sentence or any capital letters are generally ignored though.

Up until three weeks ago Rondo was an absolute star.  The MVP of the team and if you had asked other Celtics players he would have won the vote.

Rondo haters bashed him and he always made fools out of them by coming back and playing great.  It is not happening right now.

The issue is how serious is Rondo's fall.  Will he come back and play as he did? Until we see it on the court we cannot be sure. The guy is hurting the team very badly right now.

They won without him at a higher winning % than with him (when you exclude the games KG also missed while Rondo was out).  In 2009 they could not go to the finals because KG was out, last year they lost the finals because he was not guarded and could not make uncontested jumpers (as Doc said - Rondo's inability to shoot really hurt us in the playoffs).  Max said "no offense to Rondo but the ball movement is much better without him".

They have had a hard time winning without Shaq.

Rondo is not the team MVP.

After the BIG 3 go, Rondo will be running a team that will rival this year's Cavs as one of the worst ever.

Man Dudder you must be loving this. Celtics losings, entire team playing bad and you have posted more than you have in 2 months.  Of course when things were going good and Rondo was putting up great numbers you were no where to be found.  A lot like a Laker troll.

Re: Perkins trade was foolish- Go on record HERE!!

I LOVE THE PERK TRADE !

Jeff Green gives the Celtics a borderline All Star talent to run with Rondo. He is big enough to play power forward and quick enough to back up PP at the 3

    Kristic is a keeper

Green is a restricted free agent so if the Celtics don't want to pay him, they can get a comparable talent in a sign and trade. Green is a tremendous asset. Same with Kristic, hope they resign him to a 2 or 3 yr deal @ $5M or less p/yr

I think Arroyo, Pavlolick and Murphy are all upgrades for roster spots 10-15
All are worth $2-3M p/yr on 1 or 2 yr deals

I think Perks trade means the C's decided to overpay for Big Baby rather than Perk.

Let's not forget Jermaine ONeal has a $6M expiring contract for next season.
That's another asset to deal and lets not forget we have the Clippers #1 pick which will be 15-20th pick in first round

Add Shaq and Delonte to the rotation and the Celtics are unbeatable this season.............#18 is coming this June !
