    Playoff Predictions

Just for fun.  If you would just list the team you think wins in how many games in the same order as I have listed here.  Maybe copy and paste and then insert your picks in place of mine.

We can do this in the second round as well.

Boston- NY  -  Celtics in 7

Warriors- Nuggets  -  Nuggets in 6

    Bulls - Nets  -  Nets in 6

    Grizzlies - Clippers -  Grizzlies in 7

    Hawks - Pacers -   Pacers in 6

    Lakers - Spurs  -  Spurs in 7

    Bucks Heat-          Heat in 4

    Rockets- Thunder    Thunder in 5

Hard to pick a couple of the series because of new injuries.  Bulls\Nets and Nuggets\Warriors.

    Re: Playoff Predictions

After watching this game, I cannot see this series going 7 games.

I predict that the Knicks will play much better on Tuesday.  I also predict Jeff Green does not have the great 1st half nor overall game like he had today.

We are a team that tends to make horrible passes and we turn the ball over alot.  That hasn't changed and it seemed that when the Knicks applied the least bit of defensive pressure, it totally took us out of our game.

Only 3 guards off the bench played and that had to be the most non-productive outing by our bench this season.  But honestly, these guys have been inconsistent all season so this isn't such a surprise now.

Considering how everyone was rested and we had no major injuries coming in, I was surprised by our play.

What about the other series?  Who else do you predict will win?  I do agree with your comments about the Celtics.  I am not sure what will happen but really didn't think they would win this playoff series.

You know you can't choke unless you have the better team.  I guess NY thinks we have the better team.

Agree.  Denver was a great team for the entire season.  It is difficult to win a playoff series without at least one superstar on your team.

Even tho C's are out, it would be interesting to keep this thread going w 2nd round picks once  all 1st round playoffs are done.

Indiana vs NY - NY in 7 games

Memphis vs OKC - OKC in 7 games

SanAntonio vs Golden States - SanAntonio in 6 games

I expect very close series for most of these except I do think that SanAntonio is the better team.  OKC is without one of their best players so it is more difficult for them to win games.  I wouldn't be surprised if they don't win the Western Conference this year.

    =========================================

The Nets were not a playoff contender but the Bulls winning on their court w/o Deng, Hinrick &, of course, Rose was a tremendous achievement.  Boozer and Noah in the paint is a presence we never had and they were terrific in the post. Like our sparkplug alumnus Nate Robinson too. Thibodeaux is a great coach...better than Doc I think. If the Bulls had Deng & Rose it would be a pick-em series.

I am long time Celtic fan but living in SF I like the Warriors too(49ers too) and many thought Denver was the better team especially when the 2nd leading scorer, Lee, went out. I also like the Spurs because they have some old guys like the Celtics but Curry can score more in a game than the whole Celtic team in a half. I'd sell my soul to the Devil to have Curry & Dave Lee(reminds me of Dave Cowens) in Green. I think the Spurs too as Westbrook out with OKC have best chance to beat the Heat.

Some didn't believe me when I said Celts will not advance if it's the Knicks or the Heat in the 1st round.

So you figured that a first or second seed would beat a 7th seed in the playoffs?    Wow that is impressive.
