Poll time - best case scenario.....none of which is likely to happen

     A. Rumor #1 - Perk will be amnestied at year's end.  He would be a good fit here.

     B. Rumor #2 - Gasol may be amnestied at year's end.  Ditto.

    C. Trade rumor on the board - Rondo for Horford.

    D.  Trade rumor #2   - 3 team trade where we lose Rondo and get Cousins

    E.  Roll the dice with Fab Melo..........lol

If we can only have ONE of the above, which do you choose and why?  My answer in 60 mins.

That's a good one, and a hard one!  D, Cousins is the only one who could be a super star.

My choice is A - the devil you know.  If Perk gets amnestied, and will sign for the MLE, he is certainly still worth it at this stage.....IMO

    A. Perk for the MLE is a good deal

    B. Gasol is still worth MUCH more than the MLE

    C. Thats my idea so I obviously love it

    D. Rondo would be desired by Sac to play WITH Cousins, in a trade where he goes to a yet unknown 3rd team? Hmmm. Undecided on that.

    E. Not looking good yet but who knows, still too early for Fab

Horford is the best fit for this team of all the scenarios mentioned imo.

C-  Horford is by far the best risk reward.

Well its Rondo being reuinited with his buddy Perk... they'd be on this team TOGETHER... or Rondo and traded for Hordford.

In case you were comparing the two senarios its not akin to comparing Perk and Horford, we all know who is superior there

    In response to Kirk6's comment:

How about we just start playing Wilcox?

But Kirk, I know you are a big Bass fan!

Not sure, but I believe the way the amnesty process works is, that once a player is amnestied teams with cap space get first shot at those players. meaning the Celtics are waaaay down the list and not likely to have a shot at any good amnestied player.

I think that's right.  That's how Billups ended up on the Clips, isn't it?

First shot doesn't mean a signed contract

I don't think the players union is going to force a player to sign for more money when he wants to be somewhere else.
