Hopefully his 'getting started' involves dropping 30lbs in the next 90 days and dedicating himself to playing the best pick and role defense he's played in a long time

Gotta like this move. The C's HAVE to be the oldest team in the league now...don't they??

    Who makes the team,

    1)      Ray Allen                             6’5 (2)

    2)      Avery Bradley                    6’2 (1-2)

    3)      Marquis Daniels                6’6 (1,2,3)

    4)      Glen Davis                           6’9 (4)

    5)      Kevin Garnett                    6’11 (4,5)

    6)      Luke Harangody               6’8 (3… 4)

    7)      Jermaine O’Neal              6’11 (4,5)

    8)      Shamrock O’Neal             7’1 (5)

    9)      Paul Pierce                          6’7 (2,3)

    10)   Nate Robinson                  5’9 (1,2)

    11)   Rajon Rondo                      6’1 (1)

    12)   Von Wafer                          6’5 (2,3)

They could play big with; (Rondo, Pierce, Karnett, O'Neal, O'Neal)
but I am not sure this provide the amount of Athleticism you need to beat LA's line up (Fish, Kobe, Odum, Gasol, Bynum)
Even if we did gain length we are going to be slower than the heat and we'll have less talented big men than LA.......
This team will keep us in the eastern conference finals but that is it....

It kind of stinks that there is not much out there that will put us in a position to beat those lineups

    Any ideas?
should we move Bradley, Harangody and Sheed's contract for....?

Goodbye shaq....u signed with the devil so no#34 won't be getting retired. BTW, we re-sign a stiff and put him in #34, take that the Big Benedictus Arnold.

As for you bringing another championship to boston, didn't you say the same in Cleveland? Something like' I'm here to bring the king a ring'. Cleveland still waiting boi!

The great thing is Shaq can sit in street clothes most of Oct, Nov, Dec, Jan and Feb without the C's losing a beat. This team is LOADED!!!

It's a two year deal, so I guess that was the compromise.  He wanted either more money, or two years.  This is again good news because it means Danny is still holding out hope for Sheeds' contract.
    Posey?
    Battier?

Not entirely enamored with Delonte, but wouldn't be unhappy either, if you know what I mean!!

Sheed and Perk will become more attractive as the season gets closer. Ainge can use Perk as a throw-in now as part of negotiations instead of a main source since he's hurt.
