i think Lee is better suited coming off the bench. Bradley is the better defender and his jumper is improving. He's the heart and soul of the team with Rondo out.

but you should share this info in my thread "here is the plan". some C's fans here seem to think Lee is no good.

Minus the weight and condescending scowel of the big 3 (scratch that, mostly KG and doc) a lot of these "bust" players are starting to relax and find their games again.

I believe that RR will be a much better shooter when he feels free to shoot.  I think Lee is once again the player we expected when we drafted him.

Does not make a lot of difference unless one becomes a offensive threat from outside.  I know both have had spurts at looking good, but right now, Bradley's ability to defend makes the difference.

Lee is shooting 56%. Bradley is shooting 44%.

    Lee has a higher PER.

    I would start Lee.

Re: Should Lee be starting instead of Bradley?

    Flip a coin.

Their only roles, it seems to me, are to play out this season, since neither one of them, again, in my opinion, will be on the team next year, maybe not even after trade deadline time.

Neither of them, it appears, has the skills or basketball sense needed to keep up with the way Stevens will have this team play, especially Bradley.

Lee might have utility-infielder value, but $5M's a lot to pay for that luxury.

And keeping Bradley for his vaunted on-ball defense, nowhere seen tonight versus Portland, is another luxury. When Avery has to defend in the halfcourt, chase through screens, get over high picks, and rotate to help the helping big, he becomes a pretty average defender who also can't dribble, pass, or consistently finish at the rim.

Brooks should get a look-see because offense trumps defense. What did Mo Williams do tonight on the defensive end? Right.

    Brandon Bass was -22

    Jordan Crawford was -8

Well, starters tend to play against starters, so that's not exactly fair.

    Bradley is half a player.

Do the starters have a different three point line?

No, but they tend to log more minutes against higher quality players, so the 3 point line is the same, but the person who defends it isn't.

I also do not believe there is a real huge difference between Bradley and Lee.  Bradley's defense is better, but Lee ( at this point) is better offensively.  Maybe it would be good to start Lee to showcase him for a trade so we could unload his bad contract, but that's about it.

I hate to do this but it was just a little over a week ago that chris33 didn't even want Courtney Lee to play.

According to chris33, it should be AB starting at SG then Marshon Brooks is the backup SG.

One week later, Courtney Lee should be the starter?

He was just supposed to be the 3rd string SG a little over a week ago.

    HAHAHA

Have to agree with this line-up. CH should be getting minutes!

apparently he's the best they've got. if you haven't heard the starting PG is out with an injury. the team sucks, plain and simple. but, for the record, i hope stevens is losing on purpose and i hope he keeps doing it.

Crawford should start at the point, and Pressey should back him up.

The starters should be Crawford, Bradley, Green, Humphries, and Faverani.

Backed up by Pressey, Brooks, Wallace, Sullinger, and Olynyk.
