Spurs win Lakers lose-So much for best record Lakers.

Well how things turn so suddenly.   Fakers lose at home to the Nuggets and Bynum gets injured.  So much for trolls calling shots around here.

Denver, OKC and Portland are looking very disrespectful trolls.  You have a mountain to climb.

Kobe bricked like nine year old in his backyard. Complaining about every call as his team went down in defeat.   Very bad loss.

Anyone care about the Lakers falling out of any chance for the one seed?  I do.

Did you see how Kobe when missing badly, goes after the refs every single time. Never seen such a cry baby.  In big games he misses many many shots.

Give Kome some credit he did score 28 pts.  Even though it took a 10-27 shooting performance.  LMAO   What a gunner.

That is what happens when a selfish player has so much clout that he is allowed to lose games in a quest for personal glory.

His sickness now is he thinks on every play he is fouled.  He never stops crying, his errant shots will sink the Lakers this year.

This is hilarious. Lakers are fine. It was our 3rd game in 3 1/2 days against a good playoff team. No shame in dropping this game. We are still 2 1/2 games up on you and hold the tie breaker if we see you in June. Tuesday night we will be back on our winning ways. Cool

I don't think it matters if the Lakers catch the Spurs for the No. 1 spot. Does anyone seriously think the reeling, brittle old man Spurs would pose a threat to the Lakers in a 7-game playoff series? The Lakers would eliminate them with ease, even if all the games were played in San Antonio. The Spurs probably won't make it out of the second round, where they would likely face the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Re: Spurs win Lakers lose-So much for best record Lakers.

Kobe is playing with a series of injuries. His shooting percentage will continue to plummet because he no longer is able to practice regularly with the team. That affects continuity, timing. He has a seriously damaged knee with little to no cartilage (bone-on-bone). Shots that used to come easy for Kobe, no longer fall consistently. Yet, he still gives it his all.

This is the difficulty many athletes deal with. When do they stop doing what used to come easy? What makes a player of Kobe's calibre is the heart and determination to overcome the adversity before him. He'll be hated by the opposition but admired and respected by his fans. It comes with the territory.

If the Lakers don't get home court, I don't care at this stage. The Spurs played great today and it never is easy winning a title. I don't care how good the team is.

See, he's come to EXPECT every call... and to be otherwise bailed out by the officials.  You can't always get what you want...

And that is what separates the great players from the 'good' players. Also add to that that he is a ruthless player on the court. Same as Jordan, Magic, Russell etc.

I don't think home court will matter much. Lakers and Celtics could both come in 2nd in their conferences. And I think the teams that come in first (perhaps the Spurs and Bulls) will have their work cut out for them if they end up playing the Lakers and Celtics. Spurs look finished but they could bounce back. The Bulls are unproven in the play offs. They may well play a different type of basketball in the play offs and end up being beaten by Boston.

Interesting post season ahead to say the least.

Hope that Bynum isn't too badly injured. Don't like seeing injuries affect any team in the play offs as you want your team to beat full strength opponent. Not one missing key players.
