    Suns and Bobcats are Buyers

I’ve heard from rival executives that the Bobcats are going to be buyers at the deadline. This is an organization that is tired of losing games and they’d love to make the playoffs this year. This is their opportunity, with the Eastern Conference being wide open. Basketball Insiders

The Suns are definitely looking to be buyers at the deadline. Their picks and the Emeka Okafor contract, which they intend to trade, means that they have to be considered when talking about some of the top players who could be moved at the deadline. They have said that they want to land an All-Star talent, but who knows if a player of that caliber will actually be available. Basketball Insiders

green, bass, and bogans(to make salaries work-expiring)

    to charlotte

    for kidd-gilchrist-zeller-and gordon(to make the salaries work-expiring)

bobcats strengthen their weaknesses at SF and PF, while trading their excess at C.

We get weaker but younger at SF, add a talented C, and shed more salary next year then we added.

I think this is relatively fair both ways...we would certainly be worse this year, and charlotte better.

What does "Celtics are not that bad mean to you??? A record of 15 - 33 and you say they are not that bad???? Can't beat the 15 - 31 Sixers and they are not that bad???? Celtics have won 2 games out of the last 21 and you don't think they are that bad???? Right now Celtics are the 3rd worst team in the league and they are not that bad????

Celtics have the Next "Dirk" in Olynk, the next "Michael Jordan" in Bradley, "James Worthy" in Jeff Green and the "Kevin Love" of the east in Sullinger according to you, and you only can win 2 of the last 19???? I say simply clueless Mr. Fungy.

    HAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

    laughing out loud

Suns Considering Deal For Pau Gasol

the Suns could use the $14.5MM expiring contract of injured big man Emeka Okafor to get a deal done.  Even though there’s a significant gap between their salaries, there’s a disparity of less than $5MM and the deal wouldn’t put the Suns over the tax apron so it would be kosher under the CBA.

Question of concern is, will the Lakers be able to squeeze a Bledsoe or a 2014 1st rd pick out of Phoenix as they demanded from the Cavs for Gasol?

    You really are clueless.

Of course the Suns will not give up Bledsoe for a 33-year old Pau Gasol.

But the Suns will trade Okafor and one of their 1st round picks in 2014 for Pau Gasol.

I agree with you. They are starting to turn the corner..expecially with Rondo getting his timing and legs back..Sully is a beast and if KO starts to come around..we can make some noise if we get a center and a shooting guard

    Obviously YOU!

The Suns already have Goran Dragic at PG.

It's not practical for the Suns to invest 20m or more for 2 PGs.

    Get it?
