In Response to Re: The championship is tainted : The bottom line is success is measured by championships.
Of course you pray that to be the bottom line, but you have no clue that the real world is more sophisticated than that. It is also measured by when the championships are won, unless you can find the college football fans in 2011 to tell us that Princeton is the best program in the history of college football. There are also many more factors to consider...
It is not measured by how many times you made the playoffs or missed the playoffs or failed to win a championship.
Not? look at how you posted in the other thread "Celtics vs. Lakers - Thread to end all Threads on this subject"
NBA Finals Record
Celtics - 17-4 - .809 Winning Percentage
Lakers - 16-15 - .516 Winning Percentage
Instead of stating # times they win the conference (which is 31-21, Lakers), you aren't slow to remind us that it's 17-4 vs 16-15 and the winning percentage, as if winning 21 conference titles are better than winning 31 conference titles...
Of course you don't want to talk about defeat when it's the Celtics' defeats. You can't wait to talk about the Lakers' defeats fast enough...
Those are just called moral victories.
Well, moral victories are like saying "defeats don't count", "missing the playoffs don't count" when it's the Celtics' defeats...
And I thought you said moral victories didn't mean anything?
Of course not.
The fact that you think making the playoffs more times means more than winning championships just means you have a loser mentality.
You aren't good enough to say loser mentality. You thought the Celtics only had 49 seasons in the NBA - the years they didn't make the playoffs don't count.
Loser mentality is when you think you can get away with the Celtics only had 49 chances...
Let me ask you another question. What do you think Kobe Bryant would say if you asked him if he would rather just make the playoffs and not win it all or win the NBA championship. I can gurantee he would look at you like you were a r e t a r d. According to you making the playoffs means more but I wouldn't expect anything less from a Laker fan who is used to being second best.

You really have reading comprehension problem. According to me "making the playoffs means more"? you care to cite where I made such a statement? I just see how you can back up such a "lie"...
I notice that you totally dodge the issue of "you have to play in the regular season if you want to play in the playoffs". Glad that you finally have no rebuttal to the fact that the Celtics had 65 chances in the NBA but failed 48 times...
