The Loss is Easy to Explain

    1. The refs took the momentum away with truly stupid fouls on us and NO FOULS on the Heat.  The NBA should be ashamed but they aren't.

    2. We are a veteran team but once again, we gave up turnovers at critical points.  Like last night, Green didn't catch the ball on an admittedly bad pass. 3 critical turnovers for jeff in the 4th quarter.  You just can't do that.

    3. Rebounds, rebounds, rebounds...

    4. Injuries.  No Shaq, JON bad back, Rondo hurt.

    5. Paul made a critical defensive decision, letting lebron stand there and size up a 3 at a critical point.

So, Don't blame Doc - he played West the whole 4th quarter.  he played Green and in crunch time, he was timid. They failed, plain and simple.

That's the funny thing about all this.  This series, losing the last two years the way we did, are really no brainers.  Everyone of us saw this coming the last 5 mins of the game.  Same song and dance.

I think your team took too many  jump shots down the stretch; miami, on the other hand took was aggressive in takning it to the hole.. KG was unstoppable in the 1st qtr; then disappeared the rest of the way.. I think that's a combination of good defense and his age creeping up... either way; good fight u boys put up

Not for nothing, but how does a professional basketball team playing for their lives only score 14 POINTS in the 4th QUARTER as the CELTICS MANAGED TO DO TWICE IN THIS SERIES.  As I've been saying all year, THEY'RE WASHED-UP, OLD, TIRED MEN.  YEAH, THEY MIGHT HAVE HAD SOMETHING GOING IN THE BEGINNING, BUT AS USUAL, THEY MELTED TOWARDS THE END.  THEY HAD ABSOLUTELY NO PLAYER WHO COULD TAKE OVER A GAME.  I'M REALLY GLAD WE SIGNED SHAQ (hahaha)  I BELIEVE DOC AND AINGE SHOULD MOVE ON, AS THIS TEAM NEEDS A CHANGE, AND  DOC AND AINGE HAVE PROVEN MULTIPLE TIMES THEY ARE NOT THE MEN FOR THIS JOB.  DOC AFRAID OF PUTTING THE YOUNG GUYS IN (TRUST PBLMS) AINGE WITH THOSE STUPID TRADES
THE CELTICS HAVE HAD TURNOVER PBLMS ALL YEAR, AND SAME THING WITH FOULS.  THAT'S WHAT HAPPENS TO OLD, WASHED-UP PLAYERS.  WELL, AT LEAST THEY GAVE US ONE CHAMPIONSHIP.  SO MUCH PROMISE AT THE BEGINNING OF THE SEASON.  DOC SHOULD HAVE UTILIZED THE NEW PLAYERS AND GOT THEM ACCLIMATED BEFORE THE PLAYOFFS.
WELL YOU LIVE BY THE VETS AND YOU DIE BY THEM.

THANK YOU DOC & AINGE FOR NOTHING!!!

This loss is easy to explain. Your team is old and washed up. Enjoy your 1 championship. Have fun rebuilding chumps.

Same thing happened in this game that happened in game 7 against the Lakers last year.  Celtics took too many jump shots (and missed most of them) while the Heat drove to the basket and drew fouls, just like the Lakers did in the 4th qtr last year.  Simple as that!  You got outplayed in the 4th qtr of both games and you are LOSERS!!!!!

    jallen,

Green's "dunk"?  Kinda like Ray not even shooting on a fastbreak or slowbreak?  It was one on none.  Who scored more points in the fourth?  West, Green, Krstic or Pierce, Allen, KG.

Don't even try to scapegoat the bench.

We went to the clogged toilet, which hasn't worked, since '08 when PP was still a star.

Hard to beat a good team when you turn the ball over 17 times. 4 by Pierce, 3 Delonte, 3 Kg 2 Green seemed like more, 2 Rondo, not bad for a one armed man, JO 2, and Davis 1, which should have been an and 0ne instead of a turn over!!
