These Celtics = The Tin Men!

In 'The Wizard of Oz", the Tin Man wanted a heart, just like this current batch of Celtics! How many games have they blown down the stretch? 10? 15? Who is the go to guy ala Larry Bird or Paul Pierce or John Havlicek? NO ONE, because they all lack the heart to be THAT player, even Rondo. Does anyone out there have a candidate on this current roster of 'tin men' who they think are go to guys? Green? Right! Olynk? He can't score unless it's against a D-League defender. Bass? Rondo? Bradley? Chokers all!

To the shortsighted 'blow it up' crowd, it IS blown up and if all we have to show for it is a couple of second round draft choices in 2017, a slew of mid to high 20s first rounders in the interim, and a 'base' of keepers who aren't any more than second stringers on a decent team, nevermind being the lights that are to be leading us back to Championship territory, it ain't been blown up in a good way!

but remember ... "Oz never did give nothin' to the tin man, that he didn't ... didn't already have."

They have heart (except a few) ... just no go-to-guy ... yet!

The tin man was from Boston - just thought I'd throw that out there, since we already had some "America" lyrics!
