    Nope.

TA only asked for 9m for 3 years.

But let's not forget that AB is a better shooter than TA.

There are shooters and there are scorers. AB is a shooter who needs a lot of room to get his shot off. He is not a scorer. Scorers are successful in the NBA, shooters not so much.

AB is not just a shooter, he's also one hell of a defender.

I will not be surprised if AB is 1st team all-defense this season.

One of the reasons why I like keeping AB is he can guard the elite PGs.

I'm not just talking about last night.

AB's potential is he can be like Joe Dumars.

Wrong!  What you see with Bradley is what you get.

Joe Dumars is a hall of fame player. Bradley is not.

Bradley can have a very good NBA career - but it remains to be seen if we can afford him. Ainge is going to want to save some of his cash for big ticket signings.

Too bad Ainge didn't sign Green for a few million less since no one else wanted him, that would have helped him resign Bradley

p.s. Tony signed a 5 million a year deal - I think Bradley might be worth a bit more for his higher scoring

    The Celtics can afford him.

Remember, the Celts own his Bird rights.

When Ainge signed Jeff Green, Gerald Wallace got 10m per year and Nic Batum got 11.6m per year.

Jeff Green has a reasonable contract.

Also, I'm not saying AB is a future hall of famer.

All I'm saying is AB can end up like a Joe Dumars type of player.

AB will only get better, he just turned 23 and this is his first year when he hasn't had to deal with an injury.  I hope to see him a Celtic for a long time.

I agree as well but I also agree that Avery is more of a shooter than a scorer. However, I think it is a bit unfair to judge that aspect of his game until we can get a player that demands double-teams and actually creates some open shots for him.

My fear is that AB, like Tony Allen, will find his more complete game somewhere else....If we wouldn't pay Tony Allen 3 mill a year, we're not coming close to 8 mill a year for AB...no way!

I think Ainge will have no choice but to give AB 7-8m per year.

But if Ainge really does not plan on giving AB 7-8m per year, AB would be gone on or before the trade deadline next month.
