Too many guards IMO....who do we keep?

I'll just say that I would keep Barbosa over Lee right now. Lee has been good, but Leandro has been fantastic.

    Rondo  and Barbosa

Lee and Terry.............Bradley may have to be traded to get a big!

Barbosa should be getting Lee's minutes right now.

Mediocre players, which is what this Celtics team is full of, are all very streaky and very inconsistent.

I wouldn't disagaree with that too much.

With that said Barbosa is playing well and Lee looks horrible.

You may be right, but I don't want to see him traded.  He was a big factor in our success last season.  Especially on the defensive end.

yeah but I do agree with your point, this team is full good players but no one except maybe Rondo is elite, and no one except for Collins is really bad.

Lee has not played well at all, Terry has been okay, Barbosa good.

and he can't really sit Lee because then his trade value is gone.

Don't get me wrong, I would trade Lee over Bradley in a heartbeat.....I'm just looking at what other teams might be demanding.  And the question was asked earlier, if you had to give up either Bradley or Sullinger to get Gortat, who would you give up?  I said Bradley, and I'll stick with my answer!

Keepers are Rondo, Terry, AB and Barbosa. We need Barbosa because he adds speed and scoring off the bench. AB & Barbosa will be a dynamic backcourt because both can play PG/SG.

Lee is the odd man out. His defense or shot isn't worth getting rid of AB.

Re: Too many guards IMO....who do we keep?

I don't think Lee has been awful overall. Judging solely on shot making you have a point. His hustle, crisp handle, and speed in transition and defense is giving us all that Ray Allen couldn't. There are plays he makes where I think, we have'nt had a guard who played like that in a very long time. Getting steals and not fumbling the ball immediately after(Tony Allen / Ray Allen) and staying in front of explosive guards on D and being fast in transition himself.

Only downside is he is missing too many wide open threes and contested lay ups.
