Waive Darko, sign Martin

    Waive Darko, sign Martin

I mean we might as well just waive Darko since Doc isn't going to play him and sign Kenyon Martin. Kenyon can play the 4 and 5 and he's a bit more athletic. Of course that's if Doc decides to play him. SMH!

I don't like the frontline of Green, Bass and Sully or Wilcox. We need someone that is going to be an intimidator in the paint by being phyiscal or blocking shots. In those 4 guys we get neither.

Always like Martin... he brings that Rodman, Tony Allen, Wendell Ladner intangible imo

But whats happened to Darko?? Havent seen him play yet, lost 2 weeks to Sandy, no power.. how come he doesnt play?  I thought Doc liked what he was doing preseaon?

Darko injured his wrist awhile back.  Is he healed up enough to play.

As I've stated previously, lack of rebounding for this team is the elephant in the  room that everybody can  see.  Been this way for how long now,  3 or 4 years?

Glad to see the rebounding problem is shared by others.  Darko apparently has a wrist that needs surgery.  So who knows what happens. What is more of a concern is Green and Bass who while good on nights Garnett and others take the initiative the softness of their games is not changing.

We cannot win without another big man. If Darko can't play we have to get to Jan. before we can make a trade. I love the idea of Green but can't see him filling  this void.  What do we do? And when do we do it?

They have no depth at all up front. If Garnett goes down for even a month they are in big trouble.  I can't help but think a trade will be made in January.

Still too early to push the panic button.  Martin is still out there, and most teams still think they have a shot.  Perhaps Smith, Varajeo or Millsap will become available, but we need to wait until the price comes down!

    3 years.

The Celts were averaging 42.1 rpg in 2009.

It was in 2010, Rasheed became a Celtic, that the rebounding started to drop significantly.

    [/QUOTE]
Rasheed was never a good rebounder.  Rebounding has to be a team effort.  Many of the players just have to improve their rebounding.

According to this he claims he's unhappy with his role with the Cs.....can't blame him. His "injury" is not mentioned. So why doesn't Doc play him??? At least give the guy a decent shot...

I believe Darko would have been that Savior. Unfortunately the only thing he saved was a seat...
