Your right, the current status of the Celtics is cause for concern. I am not sure, however, that this is anything more than a temporary situation. As Shaq said on a recent radio show, he would be playing if were the play-offs.

I really believe that the only home court advantage that is important this year is against the Lakers, and after they destroyed the Spurs at home, a Celtic, Lakers finals is probably likely.

The Celtics are built for the play-offs, and their focus is to be ready for the play-offs. They will be a different team when the the real season, the play-offs start. They will all be focused and playing hard. Half court will dominate, along with stingy defense.

We just have to get through this transition period.
