Its bad to be put on record, as you should well know from last year when you didn't even have us making the playoffs. You say something completely untrue then start looking for some type of out by spinning what was said in the first place. First off I don't know who we are playing and who is in good condition physically. On top of that I don't usually make predictions other than I back my team. Why do you have such a problem with that.
I'm merely asking.
Last season I was wrong about the Celts. No big deal.
I'm not like the wingnut Mployee who would never admit to being wrong.
You said injuries could happen like last year. Obviously if Rose didn't get hurt last season then the Celts might not have made it to the east finals. So if something like that happened again this year then clearly the Celts have a bigger chance of winning, right?
Don't bring me into your arguments or attack me when I'm not here to defend myself ... But since you've "flushed me out" I guess I'll have to defend myself!
By not honoring your bet to stay away till October you affectively snubbed your thumb at this board and said, I am not wrong and am not leaving. Nobody argues more than you on spinning arguments when they are wrong. I defend my position if I believe I am correct especially if you are unable to prove I am wrong.
Last mention on C's use of the loophole ... I still and will always believe that was an option and the only loophole the new CBA closed was using retired bodies (players that didn't finish the latest season with the team) as filler in a S&T. The CBA also included some phraseology about the league being able to negate deals if they felt it wasn't in the best interest or intent of the CBA. Danny could have tried the loophole but obviously opted not to challenge Stern in a year where he had just estopped the Lakers and so went the safe route.
Now ... As I recall, you said at least a hundred times on this board that if the C's didn't blow it up or make a "major" trade that they would not get out of the first round. Are you spinning that prediction now into a 6th round seed or will you be sticking with your prediction? Cause I for one will bet the C's get past round one and am willing to bet on it ... Have you grown a pair yet or still in puberty or dealing with your bipolar condition?
Edit: I see we have an answer ... Gutless34 has already renegged on his round one elimination and after all his hooting and howlering he has subtly come up with a new prediction to cover his tail and shift his WRONG prediction to one that sets him up as a potential winner regardless of what the C's do ... "My prediction is the Celts will make it to the east finals again if they don't face NY or Miami in the 1st round." HAHAHA ... what a FAKE and a PHONY you truely are!!!
