WEST BEING HEALTHY IS ALMOST AS CRUCIAL AS SHAQ.. Y RISK HIM LAST NIGHT?

cant believe we played west last nite. he is still recovering from that bad right ankle. sure doc knew that. we have bradley and arroyo with wafer to play the point. y squeeze in west. if he is not 100% that wil hurt us for west is a 25 minute guy to back up the 1 and the 2now we'll have to throw out the defensively challenged arroyo at the point and likely have to rely on wafer at the 2 or sasha. simply not smart on doc's part. doc could have treated him as he did with ray and pierce, dress him but do not play him unless there was an emergency... like if the useless avery's ankle got turned!

West us our best all around guard and we will not be as good without him.  This team depends on the play of the big three and if they are on their games we have a shot.

On the plus side West's injury will give you a ready-made excuse if all of your "shaq is gonna save us by this date (insert expired date here) predictions don't pan out.

p.s. you really think you can protect West from injury? Dude is as fragile as Bynum's knees.

Posted by BostonTrollSpanker[/QUOTE]no i won't! i call it as it is! signing arrroyo was a great move on ainge's part. if he not playing is the difference between winning and losing, thats on danny! shaq still is more significant! shaq should really be at the same level as west but ainge chose to elevate his role and expectations by trading perk. had danny traded ray allen or rondo and put all his eggs in the west basket, that would be a similar. ideally, he should have kept BOTH! injury probabilities are a part of being a GM! now if kg or pierce go down, that would be a legit out! if rondo does, we actually MAY get better so i will not include him in there..

Are you kidding... Doc should have rested West?? Whos played about 15 games this season  LOL

Then how about resting BBD too?  Why not bring up the D league guys and rest the entire team...

Really, resting West ... who needs as much time as possible, is not a good idea.

West got hurt, anybody can get hurt.  Cant lay this on Doc... not even close.
