BC hoops... 50th ranked by ESPN

recent survey by ESPN ranks BC hoops as the 50th ranked program all time.
One of the best programs to not make a final four.
However numbers stink since move to ACC.

"Did you know? BC has tallied negative points in three of seven seasons since joining the ACC in 2005-06. In its final five seasons in the Big East, it "out-pointed" schools such as Florida, Louisville and Utah. "

Hey top 50 is not so bad "all time". However it's been all down hill since the ACC move. They are finding out that playing on Tobacco road for a northern team has no juice and recruits have let them know that. Soon Syracuse and Pitt will find the same things out. Justice will be served, especially when you chase money.

Disagree that "it's been all down hill since the ACC move." In the ACC, BC had 3 winning seasons and 2 losing seasons under Al Skinner, 1 winning season and 1 losing season under Donahue. It's difficult for anyone on Tobacco Road that isn't North Carolina or Duke.

You're right playing down on tobacco road is tough. However you should know that going in.

Syracuse, Pitt and all conference movers will find out going to any new conference is tough.

Rutgers will be in for a rude awakening.

ACC is not a premier conference anymore. Butler beating up on UNC, and Duke is not that good. It's all over add in BC and you have tad pole City.

College basketball isn't that big of a sport in this country outside of Kentucky, Indiana, and North Carolina. People who don't watch ONE game all season get in money pools for March Madness, Who cares/?

For such an inveterate (big word, you'll probably have to look it up) BC hater, you seem to be very aware of the schedule, although incorrect as usual. It's actually Bryant, Penn St., then Harvard. The Big East is DEAD. UConn and Louisville are dying to move to the ACC. Georgetown will follow to compensate for the Maryland loss in the D.C. area as a non-football participant, as your South Benderites did earlier.

iF you really think it isn't that big a sport, and I understand if you simply don't care, you might want to consider Connecticut (UConn), Ohio (THE Ohio State University), Michigan (Michigan and MSU), Texas (Baylor), New York (Syracuse, St. Johns), California (UCLA won a few championships over the years, Stanford), Pennsylvania (all of the Philadelphia teams and Pitt), and let's not forget Kansas (Kansas and K State), Missouri, etc. Maybe you meant college water polo? The fact is, it is a very bog sport.

Don't think you have to be a BC hater to know Buffoon College get's little respect in the major NCAA sports... basketball & football. There schedule is laden with cup cakes each year, while they are pulled down to a sorry Charleston Classic and get humiliated by the College of Charleston, and the other major prime time schools are in Maui, MSG and Brahmin Germany tipping off against ranked opponents while Buffoon College is eking out against St. Francis College and Bryant. BC and their football and basketball operations are worthless examples of nobodies trying to be relevant.

Let's all not forget Buffoon College beat writers the Buffoon's are only sophomore's this year that's right there a very young team because the team got hit by defections to another academically ranked schools.

Nice to see Butler knock off another over hyped UNC which is going nowhere in the NCAA!

Define humiliation. Like Vandy losing to Marist by 17? If the ACC is such a "cupcake" conference, why have the mighty Fightin Frauds signed on, while UConn and Louisville are lining up to get in?  You're the buffoon. UConn played M. State at Ramstein AFB. Brahmin, Germany? You're clueless.
