Spaz Can't Compete on Recruiting Trail vs. Solid 1A Competition

This is the worst year in memory for BC football recruiting. Both Rutgers and UConn are eating BC's lunch on the recruiting trail. This is year 3 for Spaz when everything was supposed to come together. BC is stuck with taking unranked camp flyers in large numbers and is unlikely to even land the best Massachusetts players who seem to be choosing UConn over BC (see http://rivals.yahoo.com/footballrecruiting/football/recruiting/rankings/rank-2915).
Their AD better light a fire quickly as his beloved football program will be going down the tubes in a couple years due to a talent gap. Except in a couple of cases Spaz can't seem to sell the program against anybody with offers better than the MAC. The AD's premature 2 year extension of Spaz's contract was expressly stated by him to be for recruiting purposes. It doesn't seem to be working at all.
