What about Doug Martin the OC, He has head coaching experience.

    [/QUOTE]

Martin was close to being a disaster as head coach at Kent State - never had a winning season.

BC football is in the dumps right now but the head coach job is attractive. When the time comes, the new AD should look outside for a head coach. They can find better candidates than Martin

Blaudschun thinks Sean Frazier from Wisco will be the new AD

Blaudschaun was a disaster at the Globe, a lowly beat writer, who covered an obscure University in Boston, which is a Zero Point Zero icredibility in the NCAA. The BC athletic program is by far so delusional, with the 1984 Flutie miracle as comfortable in their Natick mascot in his aging skin ... BC 2-10 this year, Army & Maine and theri road record Sucks... getting a Barry Alverez a cast- off is not the solution; the problem is who wants to come to BC, a Catholic institution in the rust belt with deplorable venues!

BTW:  Luke “Baby Boy”  Kuechly look great last night, ELI  shredded him like Swiss Cheese! Next time you source, please not Blaudschaun… use a credible source, or troll to a credible sports periodical dim wit.

Brilliant point, Cheerless. Kuechly's 12 tackles vs. the Giants were definitely the reason the Panthers lost that game, not Cam Newton's outstanding 40.6 rating and 3 interceptions.

Perhaps "delusional" is the correct adjective for these Yankee nobodies, whom appear to be struggling for a Messiah to bring this "BC" back to Judea where some sort of since can be, derived for their failures through time.

I think Jack Bicknell Jr may be the next coach. They may want a "BC " guy. They may not  care if it's a BC guy. He's a former head coach in college, and coaches for  the Kansas City Chiefs

Bicknell could be a good choice. But he may have his heart set on being an NFL head coach. Isn't this his 1st year with KC?

He had a couple of good seasons at Louisianna Tech but also some not so good seasons as I recall

Three things I want to see in the next coach:

    Energy and enthusiasm for recruiting

Ability to pick good assistants and be able to work with them

Speak coherently and present a good image of the team and school

Spaz has none of the above

How can your source or anyone say that?

BC doesn't have an AD right now and the AD is the guy who should be hiring the coach. So how would that work out?

Okay Joe Schmoe, you're the new AD. But don't worry we've already picked out the new football coach for you

    Doesn't make sense

Why is Buffoon College a FAILURE .... Leahy .....SJ at the helm!

"I am delighted that Brad Bates will be our next director of athletics," Boston College president William P. Leahy said in a statement. "He is thoughtful, a proven leader, and someone who understands and supports Boston College's commitment to excellence in both academics and athletics. I look forward to working with him."

Master Bates at the helm for FLIPPO.... another Caucasan, and a world wide search. Nice for the Diversity & Inclusion Students at lilly white BC!

Another Caucasian Ovcharka Puppy at the helm at Buffoon College.
