Don't overlook Nauset....the sum of that team is greater than its parts. They had no business winning at Dartmouth or at Oliver Ames but somehow pulled both out. The point guard Nicholson is a very good player.

The Raiders are going to take it to Nauset on thursday. It should be a fun game, and hopefully after Thursday it will be on to a Saturday night tilt at UMass Boston for the sectional final. By the way do either of you Wellesley guys know if there will be a fan bus to the game thursday, I heard that there might be.

You will be surprised if Wellesley makes it to UMass Boston Saturday. They are a good team which can do some things very well.

NICHOLSON TORCHED THEM FOR 17 IN THE FIRST HALF AND NAUSET NEVER LOOKED BACK. QUINCY LOST BY 9 TO CM AND THAT MEANS NAUSET HAS A CHANCE, IT MAY BE A SMALLCHANCE BUT WHO EVER FIGURED THEY WOULD GET THIS FAR. WELLESLEY WAS NEVER IN THE GAME.

Hats off to Nauset. They played a great game. They shut Wellesley down defensively and shot the ball well offensively, they had really good crowd support as did Wellesley and we students in the student section were trying to be as loud as we could be. Wellesley did not play well and whenever they would make a run Nauset would clamp down and make shots. Good luck to Nauset.
