#1 Problem (yet again) = NO NFL QUALITY WRs

We're playing in the AFC Title game, and Brady is throwing to some guy named MULLIGAN, who isn't even known in his own house.  And Austin Collie, off the waiver wire, meaning that 31 other teams passed on him.

Amendola?  How did he work out?  Complete joke.

Gronk?  Oh yeah, not on the field...Again. Useless.

Dobson?  Did he suit up today?

    Slater?

Who are these guys?  How in the world do you expect to win the Super Bowl with a bunch of cast offs that no other NFL team wants?

I'm sorry, but this is RECHE CALDWELL era football.  We've seen it before.  BB knew this at the end of last year, but he went out and did NOTHING to improve the WRs.

AGAIN:  Brady is throwing to waiver wire claims in the AFC Championship game.

Hey, here's a crazy idea:  GET A QUALITY WR OR TWO!!!

The rookies need time, but, the Pats did not have it this season.  No seasons vets for depp threats and no TEs to speak of.  Slot guys, Pats are LOADED!!!!

Yes but get atheltic players who can make a turnover in offense and defense.

This team is too coach -driven but not enough talent nor atheltic.

In the end that and injuries did get this team. They do need a deep threat and some luck with injuries to key players. Gronk,Wilfork and Mayo are huge injuries and then Talib again at exactly the wrong time. Add that to Hernandez in jail. Really did well to get wher  e they did

Our best WR today is Austin Collie, off the freakin' WAIVER WIRE.

And MULLIGAN made a nice catch.  Can we take a "Mulligan" on this game plan of trying to win with no WRs?  Joke!

Gronk was a huge injury?  When exactly is Gronk NOT injured?  He's usually good for 3-4 games each year, and then is "unavailable" from December on.  EVERY YEAR.

News flash, he will be injured next year too.  And the year after.

It's not his fault, but he can't play in the NFL.  He's made of glass.  Time to move on.

Lets admit,  losing Gronkowski to such a nasty injury was a terrible blow.  He changes everything for this team.  It is not not like he got injured because he is injury prone, he got his knee blown out by a nasty helmet hit to his knee.

Losing Hernandez was terrible luck as well.  WHo knew their 2nd star TE would go out and murder someone.

Amendola has been so dissapointing this year.

Dobson has shown promise early but faded as he was getting hurt.

Thompkins has dissapeared from this planet.  He had 2 decent games all year, thats it.  I do not want to see people using this guy as their hope for next year.

12-4 and AFCCG appearance with this roster?  It's a miracle I tell you!

    #1 Problem ...

Too many Pro-bowlers were on IR!!!

4 of 5 Pats best players did not play in this game (incl Talib in that) ... to expect them to win in Denver in PERFECT rubber arm Manning conditions was too much ... but hope springs eternal .... for me anyways ... disappointing no doubt.

Don't be stupid.  How is Gronkowski useless? Did you even see how he got injured?  No player in the NFL could walk away from that hit.

BB did not know Hernandez was going to kill someone. It happened shortly before the season!

Was letting Welker go a mistake?  Well considering how well Edelman played, it doesn't seem like a bad decision. However if you factor in that Amendola was the guy who was signed to replace Welker,  then yes I think they would be better off with Welker.  Welker and Edelman are better than Edelman and Amendola. No question.

The plan was for  Edelman Amendola Gronk Hernandez and Dobson.  Does not sound too bad. But it all went horribly wrong with bad luck and bad injuries.

Yes, this loss had nothing to do with getting completely DOMINATED on the defensive line, letting Manning stand back there and take shots all day long.

Oh, and it also had nothing to do with abandoning the run by the 2nd quarter even if it wasn't very productive.

Have you noticed how horrible our secondary is?

    Yeah....it's all about the WRS....

Non-stop punts?  2 first half punts is "non-stop punts"?

Denver played a helluva game, give them credit.  They absolutely stonewalled our running game, and their offense was able to put together long drive after long drive.  They were worlds better along both lines, and everything else came from that.  Sometimes the better team just wins.

Defense gave up 500 yards of offense, Denver punted once, I don't know what their final 3rd down conversion rate was but it was at 70% at one time in the second half. Manning had a 120 QBR. The defense was awful. The offense was nothing special but be honest. That was a horrid defensive performance. Their were no Broncos punts after talib got hurt.

The Patriots made huge $$$ investments in Hernandez and Gronkowski.

If they had those two guys they would be 18 - 0 right now waiting to see who they were playing in 2 weeks.

But one TE turned out to be a psychopath and the other TE is an injury prone, celebrity wannabe.

That is WHY they have no WRs.  Why are people whining about no WRs when you know that the team had committed major $$$ to Hernandez and Gronk?
