Few N.F.L. coaches survive three consecutive nonwinning seasons without making the playoffs, but Ryan bucked the trend. Adored among his players, Ryan has repeated how he believes the Jets are trending upward

after the refs gave the Jets the FG game...............................................

Wilkerson, who had five tackles and a sack on Sunday, said he wasn't surprised the referees made the call at that point in the game.

"That's out of my hands," Wilkerson said. "I'm just playing. The referee did his job and he made the call."

Coples said the win against the Patriots gives the Jets confidence it can win the division, and ultimately the Super Bowl.

"We know what our No. 1 mission is - our first mission is to win our division and the next mission is to win a Super Bowl and at the end of the day, we got to go out to take care of business to make sure we accomplish both of those," Coples said

I don't think it's possible to exploit Rusty, since when he's wrong, he just pretends he's right.  It's all the same to him . . .

I personally see another 8-8 or 9-7 season for the Jets. Why? Because they are keeping Rex (mediocre seasons are his constant)........and they will start Geno at QB next year which will be their mistake. Your team needs bigger changes and a change of mindset.

So, what you're saying is that you think that the Jets had the talent to be far better than their records, but Rex held them back? Intersting.  Were you against the Mike T firing?

What the heck Mike... you must think the Patriots are great, you hang around here all the time.  You have a bad case of "Little Brother Syndrome"  like the Giants said.  But the Big Brother is the Patriots, not the Giants.  Run along, now and stop bothering the big kids.

Among his players, IMHO, Ryan bucks the trend because he is a coach who trash talks like his players and has bravado, win or lose.  Unfortunately, his players never seemed to have the discipline to keep winning, devolving into "individuals" playing on a team versus a "team" of players working together to win.
