Add Johnson to rookie free agent crop

On Tuesday, some of the New England Patriots' soon-to-be-announced rookie free agents were listed.

One more name can be added to the list: Cornerback Terrence Johnson from California University of Pennsylvania.

Johnson is considered one of the most decorated defensive players in Vulcans history. As detailed on the school's Web site, he finished his career with 178 tackles (133 solo) and recorded 16 interceptions while starting at cornerback (2006-2010). Johnson was also considered a strong special teams player.

The Patriots should be announcing their eight-member rookie free agent class in the coming days. The team has recently waited to officially announce the signings until the players arrive at Gillette Stadium for rookie minicamp.

Rookies are expected to be traveling to town Thursday, with the rookie minicamp starting Friday.

16 interceptions thats amazing for 4 years!! sure he played at a small school but this kid has some promise, thoughts?
