Surely, Rocky, you're not suggesting that our Albert is a lazy hack?

Looks like Breer studied under Borges.  Somebody send this to the Globe's editor and get this plagiarism exposed.

It's actually fairly common to see the same topics being discussed across the Boston media about the same time.  I've noticed the Herald, Globe, and ESPNBoston seem to copy each others topics from time to time.  As a credit to Reiss, he usually states that his topic was first discussed by.... and so on.

For all we know, they hang out with each other and have no problems with any of it.

Breer is trying to cover himself with the article "he" wrote!

The Patriots website on via twitter said..."Don't believe everything you read. Reports of Patriots past draft boards w/only 25 players on it is fiction & merely a small fraction of #."

Breer responded with....."A little out of character for the Patriots to Tweet, officially, that a report is wrong. Not sure I've ever seen that before.

During the season, all you have to do is listen to Bill Belichick's press conference (posted on the Patriots' website in the afternoon) and you'll know exactly what every sportswriter will be talking about the next morning. Both the Herald and the Globe basically just re-hash BB's press conference, maybe with an additional quote or two from a player inserted into the article if they can get one.  The Globe and Herald reporters aren't copying each other, they're both just repeating whatever BB says.
